Please help. I just updated the plugin and now ALL my downloads are GONE. I am running WP 4.5.1

I have installed download manager and successfully uploaded a sample post with a pdf file. I have checked the setting to try to open the file in the browser before downloading. The file opens as garbage, but downloads fine. Any idea how to fix the ability to view in browser?

I am running WordPress 4.4 on Nginx and have installed the following plugins:
Download Manager version 4.5.4
WPDM – Archive Page version 2.8.1

I have added the following to a page to display documents by category:
[wpdm-archive button_style=”default” Items_per_page=”2″ category=”category-slug” order_by=”field-name” order=”asc|desc”]

The categories display on the page but a Loading button/image is displayed beneath them with no documents displayed. I eventually get a 504 gateway timeout error.

The following error is logged in the nginx log:

On my new download packages I add, I get an error code on the individual package pages. The error code is: page-template-1col-ex-autdio.php

On previous downloads files I’ve added, the page works correctly. On our archive page of all downloads, I have no problem actually downloading the items; the problem occurs when you click on the document title to view specific info on the individual package.

Sorry to pile up questions – but they all surround a single email lock download instance.

If you go to http://www.mind-morph.com/thank-you, you can test these issues:

1) The Captcha code is getting cached. As a result, Once I click Captcha link first time, I can sit at one computer and enter many incorrect email addresses, i.e. test@test.com and click download and system automatically assumes your Captcha is valid.

Even if I set 1 download per user, will still allow multiple downloads with invalid email addresses at this computer – which means robo entries would be accepted since Captcha is cached.

2) The system allows duplicate subscriber emails. Again, can solve with setting for 1 download for per user, but what if I have multiple different email lock downloads. Can we track each different download on a per email address basis?

3) Is there a way to force the download link to open the PDF in a new window. Currently target is same window.

4) Even though i have chosen option for “Download Instantly” I am still being sent an email link to download. Can I stop the email link?
