For a client we developed a downloads page with a MailChimp add-on. The downloaders receive a download confirmation email and are automatically added to a subcription list. They should NOT get an email confirming they are on the subscribers list, but they do.. although in Mailchimp that option is disabled/unchecked.
How can we make sure the downloader does NOT get a subscription confirmation email?!?
Hey,
Just purchased the pro version after having used the free plugin for a while.
I have run into two issues:
#1. I cannot get this table to work right on my website:
http://demo.wpdownloadmanager.com/wpdmpro/all-downloads/
As you can see in the screenshot, something is going wrong with the title column in the table – its also placing a huge margin above and below the table for some reason as well…
Also, how do you place that download button in the table the same as in your demo website I linked above?
The shortcode I am currently using is:
[wpdm-all-packages items_per_page="20" jstable=1]
#2. I want to completely disable the option for users of the plugin to get access to the server. This should not be possible anywhere using the plugin. How do I do this?
Login details in next private post.
Thanks.
I have WPDM set to hide all files, if the user does not have permission to view them. I am then setting the CAL to add a specific user to view a file, but the file does not show on their page.
I need to be able to only show a file if a specific user has permissions.
I’m using single mp3s in each package to allow music downloads. It is important that we count the downloads. The problem I’m having is that when I click on the package link to show the page with the mp3 preview it loads the file and counts it as a download.
Hi,
on our clients site we need to set up WPDownloadManager completely new after a crash.
Now we got it all but the download buttons are just not working.
Try by your selfe here > http://www.divia.de/divia-downloads/
It’s just linking to this URL > http://www.divia.de/download/social-media-navigator/#pkg_5274

Alex
I had the free version installed, and this morning upgraded to Pro so that I can see download stats. In the download package, the only plugin that would install correctly was “wpdm-m24x.zip”. The three other files in the download (download-manager-3.3.8.zip, download-manager-4.1.4.zip and expo.zip) would not install. However, the plugin seemed to be working ok, as long as I kept the original free plugin activated. Please advise if there was something I should have done differently.
According to the documentation, that stats should appear under the “downloads” section of my dashboard. But my dashboard does not have “downloads” listed. I can’t seem to find the stats under any of the choices. Screenshots of my dashboard and also my plugins page attached.
I am a novice and WordPress and plugins, so please be gentle! Any help is appreciated. 🙂
Hello,
I’ve created a package with two documents in it. I want one of them to be password protected, and the other one not to be password protected.
I’ve added a password [12345] in the box next to the file I want password protected, but I can still download it without the password.
I am allowing individual file downloads.
If I enable password lock under “lock options”, this adds a password to ALL the files, so this isn’t what I want.

On a slightly different note, I also need to make it so that users CAN’T download a zip of all the files in that package – they HAVE to download them individually (so that only those with access to the password protected file can get it, but everyone can get the publicly available files) – is this possible? If so, how do I achieve this?
Hello, In /templates/link-template-default-icon.php can I change [file_size] to show the package size of all downloads in the collection?
Ok,
I’ve got wpdm installed and all my mp3’s uploaded. What do I have to do to get this to link to feedburner for my podcasting? I have this page setup with the categories: http://bethelharvestchurch.com/downloads/podcasts/ But because its not XML, I can’t get it work.
thoughts?
I created a ‘file list’ of both links and downloads. I really like the file list, but it looks weird when you have it linking to a webpage, rather than downloading a document. Is it possible to change the word ‘download’ to ‘link’ in limited cases?
Hi.
I bought and installed the WordPress Download Manager Pro Special Pack a while ago, version 4.1.2.
I missed out the 4.1.3, now there is the version 4.1.4.
Where am I supposed to download it? It’s not in my account/downloads.
Thank you.
Hi,
I’d like to add a table with all downloads available for a registered user.
I’ve looked at this page: http://newlook.wpdownloadmanager.com/doc/short-codes/
I need “Short-code to list All Packages in a tabular format:” but I don’t find it…
My page would look like this page: http://demo.wpdownloadmanager.com/wpdmpro/all-downloads/
Could you please give me the good shortcode (and the complete list of shortcodes available for Download Manager Pro) ?
Thanks !
