    Hello,

    Thank you for activating the add on.
    Today I try to list all my downloads but the add on can’t find downloads…
    I enclosed a picture IssueAddOn which shows that the add on doesn’t work properly.
    Indeed I have three different downloads in different categories but when I select a category, no one download appears.

    I have another issue, I have a lot of files on my OVH server but when I try to select one I can’t because there is no scroll bar (please refer to enclosed picture IssueAttachFile). Is it normal? How can I do?

    Yew i worked with that and it’s smoother and worked fine!
    But (a little bit further) you are saying that is better, and we all know that there is no full security in anything, what i should do to maximize security of my site’s downloads, ssl?, amazon?, wpdm?

    I’ve checked here http://computer-info.nl/downloadsss/manual-123/ and got the archive page settings is working fine, when archive page is disabled, the archive page link hides.

    But what you actually trying, breadcrumb doesn’t work in that way. If you want to push your custom page in breadcrumb, you need to customize code or if you want to make the look here http://computer-info.nl/downloadss/documentation/ better, that also will require to customize theme.     I have this exact problem. It says no download found but all my downloads have tags on them. But it does not find them. I have over one thousand downloads and over a hundred have similar tags in them but yet it says “No Related Download Found”.
    Is there a fix for this problem?

    FYI – i added “[similar_downloads]” to my page template.

    After almost 3 months the auto-import is finally working. But somehow It’s still isn’t possible to just download a uploaded file?

    So because something is remotetly uploaded, I can’t use [download_link]?

    Hi,
    I noticed that the download manager pro calls 4 javascript files on every post i have, even if it does not have any download packages. please see below screenshot:

    I stopped Bootstrap js.
    As for the other ones:
    -I am not using and will not allow front end addition.
    -I don’t have timed downloads and will not use it
    – i am not sure what the “cookie.js” and “chosen.js” do

    can you please explain what they do and how to turn them off?

    Something I think worked was I limited downloads to 1. When I went in to check my ‘practice’ I was allowed to download one time…the next time I got the download limit exceeded message.

    Hello,

    On a page template with [file_list] included, it’s not possible to download the files individual.
    I have created a package with the possibility with multiple files (currently 2 pdfs).
    It’s not only showing a list with the file names and 1 button to download them all.

    “Allow Inidividual File Download” is checked! We also use an e-mail lock. On the e-mail template we use [page_url] for the link to the page with the download list.

    Please advice.

    Hello,

    Is it possible to include [file_list] with a direct download for each download individual on the page:

    DOWNLOADS
    File 1
    File 2
    File 3

    Users should get the option to download these individual instead of downloading them all at once.

    those will require to edit code in template file wpdm-all-downloads.php,
    you can create a dir named download-manager in your active theme dir, then copy the file in that dir, then edit it as per your need.

    Hi there,

    At the moment my short code: [wpdm-all-packages categories="starsperse-polymer-bound-accelerators," items_per_page=10]

    Is making the order of document downloads go from Z at the top to A at the bottom (reverse alphabetical order)

    Please can you tell me how to change this so it is in alphabetical order?

    Also how do I get ride of the CREATE DATE column?

    Finally How can I get rid of the download column?

    Hi,

    I am trying to modify the “panel” link template to be used without the need for a download page, as I insert the WPDM shortcodes into posts and don’t need another page for download.

    I have packages with multiple files. I want the user to be able to download the files individually, but to omit the option to download the whole package. (and omit # of downloads and total package size, as it will be meaningless for users).

    I want the panel to have:
    -Individual file names
    -individual download buttons
    -individual file size for each file
    -individual number of downloads for each file.

    i have succeeded to modify the “panel template” to have the first 2 options:

    I’m getting this error below on add package page and also I cannot upload bigger files (5mb and more) I have checked .htaccess and contact with my hosting service and they said it has been increased to maximum value.

    As you have http://www.wpdownloadmanager.com/download/advanced-access-control/ with wpdm pro, in this page http://www.wpdownloadmanager.com/download/advanced-access-control/ , we mentioned a short-code [wpdm_my_downloads login=1] to list all users file. If any user comes to that page, he will be asked to login and after login he will be able to see the files assigned to him. With wpdm pro, you can assign role for “Allow Access” field ( http://www.wpdownloadmanager.com/doc/add-new-package/package-settings/ ) to allow all users under selected role(s) and when Advanced access control is active you also can assign package to specific user ( https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Vnincz-xlVs ). So after you are done with creating packages and assign roles and users properly to those package, the last steps is create a page with short-code [wpdm_my_downloads login=1] and add it to your navbar. Still, want us to help with setup, please give a temporary wp-admin login info in a private reply.

    You can do that in two ways.

    1. You can use http://www.wpdownloadmanager.com/download/crypton/ theme. Its home page is designed like your desired home page.

    2. You can use http://www.wpdownloadmanager.com/download/wpdm-extended-short-codes/ add-on. You have to use 3 short-code in this regard. To add slider use [wpdm_slider ids="package,ids,separated,by,comma"] short-code. For popular downloads use following shortcode [wpdm_packages link_template="link-template-panel" order_by="download_count" order="desc" paging="0" items_per_page="10" cols=1 colsphone=1 colspad=1 title="Most Downloaded Packages" desc=""] and for new downloads use [wpdm_packages link_template="link-template-panel" order_by="date" order="desc" paging="0" items_per_page="10" cols=1 colsphone=1 colspad=1 title="New Packages" desc=""] shortcode.     Hi,
    Thanks a lot.

    (leaving the file size issue aside, as the file name corruption in the zip file was before this change).

    Can you please try to download the Zip file from a Windows based computer? The zip file you sent me works only on Apple.

    I tried the downloads from 2 cities in Australia, 4 computers, as well as in Argentina, none gives proper names using Winrar and winzip.

    I want to know how come a dynamically generated zip file, generated in the same server, give different file names INSIDE the zip file !

    Also, i noticed in many package that when i add a file to an existing package, the total package size does not get updated ever.
    (again, this is before my server file size issue, which h is getting fixed now)

    Can you please advise?

    I have checked all the areas, protected post types, verified that user roles are accurate and match the credentials for the category AND each item as well as post type. I cannot understand why only some files appear for each user.

    There are 4 sections of downloads, based on post type. Admin can see most of post type 1, none of type 2, some of type 3 and most of type 4
    Customers, which are the highest user role beside admins can only see most of post type 1, and none of the rest.

    “No accessible records found. For more information, please register or login to view more.”

    All files have been checked and are uploaded, published, public and available for access.

    HELP!

    I am a new to WPDM and had a couple of questions.

    1. Is it possible for users to subscribe to a package and receive updates when it is changed?
    2. I am using this shortcode to display the downloads: [wpdm-all-packages items_per_page="20" jstable=1]
    Is is possible to automatically sort these by category instead of file name?
