My downloads stopped working properly after updgrading to 3.1.03. When I click on the download button, the page opens a new page with the exact same download screen. When I turned off “Lock Options” “Must Agree With Terms” the download works. This is Microsoft Edge. Firefox works properly. I cleared browser cache and the download seems to work again. I have never had to do that before after a plug-in update.
Also, my download list no longer appears in my page correctly. I am using the shortcode
All Legacy Files [wpdm_category id="legacy-self-extracting-zip" items_per_page="20" order_by="title" order="asc"]
The items appear in a column of 3 instead of a straight list with a set of buttons to sort by.David
Topic: shortcode info being ignored
I have been using shortcodes to display categories of downloads in alpha order by title. It has worked perfectly until recently. Now it seems as though the alpha order designation and the number of items to display before pagination are both being ignored. Can you help me determine what the issue might be & get it resolved?
An example of the shortcode that was working before but now isn’t:
[wpdm_category id="it-policies" toolbar="0" item_per_page="30" order_by="title" order="asc" cols=1 template="5e3db0d31913d"]
All plugins, including download manager & addons, are up-to-date. The theme and wordpress are both up-to-date. We tested for a plugin conflict and couldn’t find one.

There is an archive of downloadable materials on my Google Drive (mostly PDF’s), which I have offered for download using WPDM Google Drive. When users try to download these resources, they are prompted to sign into Google… is there any way to bypass this prompt and allow them to download resources without signing in?

Hi Nayeem, I don’t think I’m explaining this very well.
We have a staging site that we use to test and update plugins and add content throughout the week. One Fridays, we push those changes live to production.
So, right now our production instance is gaining downloads and the download counts are being implemented. That document in staging might only have 25 downloads. In production, by next Friday the document has generated 150 downloads.
Next Friday, we’re going to push the staging site to production and the number of 25 is going to overwrite the number of 150.
At least, I’m assuming that’s going to happen. We just installed DM and are trying to head off this scenario.
What I would like to do is not push the table from staging that contains the download counts to production, but I need your help understanding which table might contain those counts.
Does that make sense?

I have WPDM installed on my client’s staging (new) and production (current) sites. I want to import the Downloads from the production site to the staging site so that the client’s new site has all the content from the current site.
I exported the downloads from the current site to a CSV file using WPDM’s import/export function.
But when I upload that CSV file to WPDM on the staging site, the process hangs there, at 1% with zero (of 80 total) packages imported. For half an hour and counting.
Should it take this long? Is something broken? Is there some trick to doing this?

I have 4000 files jpg representing 4000 eps files to download. the user will have a limit of 1, 3, 6 or 12 and so on files to download per month. I want to add those 4000 files in a gallery with elementor (all files will have the title name in the iptc metadata)
How can I associate download manager with my gallery of images…
1- do I have to create a unique package with all 4000 images? I want to give permission to this package to every user according the limits of downloads/per subscription
2- if that is the case, Can download manager or download limit save every file name downloaded by every user subscriber, to have a history of their downloads?
3- If this possible only with customization, if that is the case let me know.Regards,

1- Create various billing pages for customer checkout (name, address, email, credit card, paypal to process the order) creating type of membership for the subscriber
2- In download manager indicate how many items (downloads) every member type can do according to their level (example 3 files, 6 files, etc)Let me know,

We reinstalled and the world came to an end.
1. The formatting of the “file cart” buttons on the side of the site is no longer normal and its formatting changes from page to page.
2. when creating a selection of downloadable files and then activating file cart. Downloading the package downloads a randomly named .txt file (example of latest +L6UnHrZ.txt) instead of the expected .zip package.

Hello, I’m having an issue with files being unavailable to view in the doc viewer unless “All Visitors” is selected in access level. I have all users selected to be able to view files however (even while logged in) I cannot see the file in the doc viewer. I get this error message: “You don’t have permission to download this file” – I can still download the file, just can’t view in the doc viewer unless “All Visitors” is checked.
In addition, the doc viewer does not load about 40% of the time. The page loads and then a large blank space exists where the document should load. I have attached a video of it not working on mobile & desktop until after forcing a refresh. It’s not really appropriate for the user to have to refresh so many times to get a feature to work.

I’ve noticed that on https://gillinghamdorset-tc.gov.uk/test-download-page and https://gillinghamdorset-tc.gov.uk/download-category/annual-town-assembly where i use this shortcode [wpdm_all_packages items_per_page="100"] the files no longer downloads. This has been working for the past year but i think it must be an issue with a resent update.
Can you confirm that [wpdm_all_packages items_per_page="100"] should still work and if you have any ideas how I can resolve this?
