Hi,
Since yesterday downloads stopped working. When I click the „Downloads“ -> „All Packages“ I also get a critical.
Same happens on the pages using wpdm shortcodes.
Seems that more users have this problem. Any solution for this yet?Thank you!

I have checked other categories are working fine, but only this category https://downloads.jinbei-deutschland.de/download-category/alle is showing critical error, can you please share your WPDM related PHP log error info here for checking

I’m getting critical error when klicking <Downloads> or <All Packages> on left WP Menu, too.
Categories are shown well.
But the plugin is still working.In reply to: Update a file which is linked to multiple packages
For version control, you may check this add-on, https://www.wpdownloadmanager.com/download/wpdm-default-values/, for attaching files you may attach files manually for this and for Downloads -> All packages attached file has not such column

I got the same issue. All downloads are showing „access denied“ in the file Browser overview. Also I keep getting a 500 server error if I try to access the „all packages“ page. It seems that the plugin has no access to the files folder on the ftp anymore. However, nothing seems to have changed. Write/read access still the same.
I also tried to roll back to an older Version of the download pro plugin. Still the same, so I guess it‘s caused by a WordPress update or something like that.Thank you,

I have one file, attached to multiple packages. Is it somehow possible to update this file (the file itself and version number) for all this packages at once? Or do I really need to open all packages one by one and update the file manually per package?
If this is not possible; is it possible to show all the attached files in the admin list for a package under ‘Downloads’ -> ‘All packages’?
A few questions:
1) I know you have a shopping cart and payment system available but we need to charge our members different amounts (based on their credentials) for the same one-year membership. WooCommerce has a plugin called “Name Your Price” that allows for this. Do you have a plugin that is similar?
2) If not, can the Download Manager be set up independently of any membership fees we collect via WooCommerce? In other words, can I set up the software to manage free downloads by members and then, separately, add a paywall using WooCommerce to protect the section where the download links are?

Hi, I bought your special pack, I need to create a website where there will be digital products for sale, but I also need the downloads to expire after 1 month of purchase. That is, the user who buys will be able to download all future updates for 1 month, after which if he wants the other updates he will have to buy back the product.
Or, tell me if it is possible through the membership extension, activate a monthly subscription in which the user can download a maximum of 3 downloads per day but as soon as the subscription expires if the user does not renew he will no longer be able to download anything and not even previous downloads.
Can this be done at least with the membership extension? I don’t find guides anywhere

I need to make sure that if a buyer purchases a download product, they can only download it for 30 days, even if I update the version. After 30 days of purchase, if I release a new version I will have to pay back the purchase.
I do this, because those who want to have updates included in all available products must have an active membership, while those who buy individually can only have free updates for 30 days. I can’t figure out how to do this, with woocommerce I could.
Or it could be done that if a user purchases and downloads a product, for example version 1.0.0, he can always download this version, but as soon as I release version 1.0.1, he will not be able to download this new version but will have to proceed again with the single purchase of this new version.

Please simply click the Save Settings again for license key option from
Downloads > Settings > License, that will regenerate the access token. Finally, go to plugins page and update will work fine this timeand for add-on for now,

when i set download limit for a specific role to 0 it stay unlimited.
for my business needs , i have to set 0 downloads for some roles. so any role of those will never download any file (ignoring allow access settings)

the recent version of WPDM started to cause the following issue for almost all of my downloads: Whenever a download is triggered, the following warning + fatal error appears and the download doesn’t start:

PHP memory limit is set to the maximum possible value, so that can’t be the origin of the issue. I have never experienced this issue in the previous versions of WPDM.
Additional note: I recognised that the data-downloadurl has two parameters passed after the ‘?’
1. wpdmdl=… & 2. refresh=… –> I tested calling that data-downloadurl without the refresh parameter which made the download start (but the warning and error still appears).Seems to be a general issue during download stats tracking. Are you working on a fix for this?

(Use this password to see the page: Kn3s7el!112020)Since we installed the PRO Version of your plugin it randomly adds something to the urls when clicking download instead of opening the file. The url then looks like this and instead of downloading we get a critical wordpress error:

When you go back after you got the error page and try again, the link opens correctly. Do you have a solution for this?
We are getting an issue with the WP Download Manager Pro plugin.
We have set up the packages and files to download on the page here:
https://omegatmm.com/download/publicIt’s showing a list of all the files that can be downloaded. The files should be displayed in a pop-up when clicking on the Download button.
However, sometimes it works and sometimes we can’t see the files in the pop-up.
Also, we have used a dropbox addon for this.
Can you please let us know how to fix this issue?

Topic: Search blocks don’t work.
The ‘WPDM Gutenberg blocks’. There’s a ‘search results’ block – but it returns posts and not packages so is of no use.
There’s the ‘All Downloads Table’ – which ignores the category completely and returns results from ALL categories every time. Not much use.

I Found the issue This afternoon basically there was a customised template in the Theme that was from an older incompatible version the faulty template was wpdm-all-downloads.php it does not say which version it’s from but its very different from the new one I’ll re-style the CSS in the new template and we should be all good.
I figured this out once I had read https://www.wpdownloadmanager.com/docsfor/for-theme-developers/ to see what possibly could be the issue with the template. in future try giving the user a heads up to look if there are any customised templates.

Hi, I’m having so many problems with this and I can’t find any decent documentation about it. None of our email-locked downloads are making it into the Mailchimp list.
Also, when I try to install the update, I get a message saying ‘Success!’ but when I refresh the page it tells me it still says it needs installing.
Please help, this is driving me nuts – we’re losing valuable leads.
