Downloads > Settings > Licenseand then please update the plugin from thewp-admin > pluginspanel. For saving settings again for the license key option fromDownloads > Settings > License, that will regenerate the access token. Not sure why as a company he couldn’t just ask someone to take over….Here is the situation.
EVERY product I sell on my website is using ONLY credits that customers buy through credit packages.
When a customer clicks on the direct download link showing on a responsive table and the product page, it pops up the dialog box confirming they will use X amount of credits to get the product.I want my customers to ONLY click the direct download link and it automatically removes the X amount of credit from their balance and downloads product.
There is NO NEED for the popup because they know how much credits for the product when they sell it.
How do you bypass this lock option popup feature?

We are moving to a new website and were hoping to go live today.
After a discussion with a member of your team, we purchased the Pro license with the idea of exporting all Downloads from the current website and importing them to the new one. We have downloaded all the Download files (PDFs) in the directory and I exported a CSV file of the configuration. We have now uploaded the download files to the directory of the new website, but when trying to import the CSV file the import is stuck at 0%.
Do you know why this may be happening?

Hi Nayeem, thanks for your quick response.
What we are trying to do is add an additional download button to the default link-template. This link would be to a form on another part of the website and would not be a download. However we don’t need that link on every download listing, but only on certain downloads.
We have both ACF and the WPDM – Advanced Custom Fields installed and activated. I have created a field group which allows me to add a link to each download page. So if that link field has been filled out we would like to display the button and link the button to the link in the custom field. But if the link is not filled out, we do not display the button.

It isn’t.
Changing the CSS made it worse. There was a lot of the user dashboards parts missing.
See attached on missing items.
There were a few more things that need to change.
1) AVATOR profile image placeholder needs to removed, there is nowhere someone can upload one in their dashboard. It is pointless.
2) When customers buy credit package, it doesn’t show up under their “Purchases” in the dashboard. Why? Is that for only products that were purchased from dollar price on product and purchased that way? If so, I need that removed too. All my products are ONLY credit based, not money.Download History Section
1) Where do I change the words on the header of that table? I don’t want them called “Package Name”
2) The “Download Time” isn’t accurately reporting day and time. And it is 24hour time instead of 12 hour time. I don’t need IP field either.

Topic: Standard custom fields
I had found a way to publish custom fields in page templates using [custom_field_name] but now it doesn’t work anymore. I saw that there is a plugin to publish the advanced custom fields but my problem is that my many downloads already configured use the standard custom fields. Now apart from the expense for the plugin which of course I would save if I could, I really wouldn’t want to re-edit all the downloads that have already been uploaded. Is there a way to re-publish the standard custom fields?

I have Download Manager Pro and the install version that displays is Version 3.2.32, the version should be 6.1.1 or some other 6.x version.
In the Dashboard for Downloads, the following menu items are missing:
– All Packages
– Import & Export
– Subscribers
– StatsIn Downloads \ Settings, the following menu items are missing:
– Social Settings
– Updates
– LicenseThe plugin is still working, but if I run another update, it will most likely crash.
Any assistance would be much appreciated.

Sorry for this inconvenience.
I think you have just bought the wpdm and addons and at the first time you have to upload required plugins manually to your website. Addons menu is a very recent feature with the latest few versions. It may not allow the first installation.
However, I hope you can update wpdm and addons fromDownloads > Settings > Updates
If you can’t update it directry from WordPress dashboard, Please update from here.
Let me know please if it works properly. Sometimes hosting permission doesn’t allow installation directly from website.

Still investigating this. Another issue is that when we upgrade from V2.5.1 to V3.4.6 the users we’ve created are still there, but longer recognized, so no access to the downloads is given for any.
The user are still show their user/member classifications.
The subscribers in the new plugin version appear to be there, but when we go in to manage no information is there.
I have added a multiple user roles plugin to allow us to assign multiple roles to a single user. When we activate Pro Members V3.4.6 the options for assignment change.
It’s a really big issue for us. The old plugin causes a critical error, and the new version is not functioning properly.

First of all, congratulation on the product. We upgraded WPDM 6.1.2 on WP 5.8.3 and got some problems:
– a database error: [Table ‘bibliote_wp.wp_ahm_order_items’ doesn’t exist] select oi.*, o.order_status, o.date as order_date from wp_ahm_order_items oi,wp_ahm_orders o where o.order_id = oi.oid and o.uid = 3 and o.order_status IN (‘Expired’, ‘Completed’) order byorder_datedesc
– the WP session expires very often, practically in seconds. I cannot identify the cause.
– the icons from downloads are missing. I can upload them in /wp-content/plugins/download-manager/assets/file-type-icons but there is a way to update the links of downloads?
– the tags on the downloads are missing from WPDM interface but present in WP tags area. There is a way to import back?

I’ve seen that this issue has been posted on this forum before but it didn’t provide the answer I was after.
Currently when I try to access a protected file (via URL link) when I’m not signed in, the plugin automatically downloads a permission-denied txt file which contains an error message. I was wondering if there was a way to stop it from automatically downloading this, and instead redirect the user to the login page whilst showing the error message.
Also this is off-topic, but I was wondering if there is a way to edit the text of the ‘Download’ button. I had a look at the template PHP files but I wasn’t able to find where I could edit it.

Thnx for your quick response. In parallel I found out that using [WPDM_..] shortcode at the action buttons caused the problem. After replacing the shortcode by a copy of the download link, the downloads are executed properly.

– When a new User registered they can download 2 Files. But in the settings stand 1 Files per day. See Images.
– In the Stats stand that the User “guest” had download over 4000 Files. Who is this User? The User does not exists.
– For User I use the Plugin wp-members. Can I despense this Plugin and use yours? Can I transfer all User in your Plugin.
