From my side, the above 3Mb file size PDFs downloading properly too, However, the issue can be created from your server settings or from the Downloads > Settings > Basic section too. Can you please check them too. please let me know then.

Hi.
I have an issue where every PDF or ZIP file downloaded won’t open. Adobe Acrobat states that the PDF is corrupt. How can I fix this?

I have made some progress – the CVS file seems to be working, with the exception of the following:
NB. https://imgbb.com/ doesn’t allow me to upload the CSV File?!
1. Most important: the ‘Download File’ whilst the file is identified on the CSV the problem is to ‘link’ the actual image file. I upload the image file as a ‘bulk import’ (files are in a Folder ‘Downloads Test _ CSV 16_3_22’ in the ‘Digital Assets Manager – download-manager-files’ – but this then alters the Title / Description to change to the file name (with no spaces)?
It also removes the Categories and other settings. It does add an ID.

This show the Package which is fine except that the image file is not linked – so we get “Sorry! File not found!”
There is no ID? Categories are OK.
2. I would like the CSV to ‘remove’ the (Discussion) ‘Allow Comments’ option.

Unfortunately that solution won’t solve the issue as I will not be able to manually keep a Top Downloads category up to date. I’ll have to find another solution, but if I can propose a feature, adding the order_by functionality to the Carousel shortcode would be amazing since it would solve this dynamically.

Sorry to hear about the issue. I am sorry that the carousal shortcode doesn’t support the order_by parameter.
Only wpdm_tree shortcode supports the order_by parameter in the extended shortcode addon.
Instead of using order_by you can manually create a category manually for top downloads. As it supports category parameter. I hope it will solve the issue.

Thanks for providing details.
There are 3 ways to include search functions with wpdm packages and shortcode.
1. You can enable search function using shortcode [wpdm_search_result] mentioned for download packages (named as folder in your website)
2. You can enable “Enable Search in File List” from settings > frontend access (you have already enabled it) but there should be more than 30 files.
3. There is another type of search function like the first one using the shortcode below:
[wpdm_all_packages] – List all downloads in tabular format in a page

Sorry for the delay because of the weekend.
However I found that you used this shortcode.
[wpdm_all_packages login=1 items_per_page="20" order_by="title" order="ASC" cols="title|categories|update_date|download_link" colheads="Titolo|Categoria|Aggiornato Il|"]
In this shortcode just remove the parameter login=1 to show downloads without login.
However, the cache plugin was causing the issue. I have deactivated that, it fixed the issue with a new subscriber role I created.. In this case, it would be appropriate to make an exception for the wpdm page of the cache plugin or disable/change the cache plugin to recheck the issue.

Here the website you shared, he uploaded all the files in a download package then the filelist has made the downloads list. But I am sorry there is no way to edit file list without editing the core files of wpdm.

Got the issue.
Actually the my downloads menu is showed if the downloads are shared only to that specific user.
To select specific user for downloads you have to use the below addon with wpdm:

It appears to be working now. I’m unsure of the issue that was causing the problem. However, when I bulk import, it creates the preview image in my media gallery each time. I’m going to be uploading a lot of downloads that will use the same image and I don’t want it creating multiple versions in my media gallery. Do you know how to get around that?
I’m also using custom page templates. In the CSV I’m using the page template ID with the “.php” at the end (as the example shows), but after importing, those page templates don’t seem to be pulling correctly. When I click on one of my downloads, instead of showing the content in my page template, it is just showing my template name “dbr-multiple-files.php” in the body of the download page. However, I have changed the logic for downloads tags from your child theme custom wpdm archive templates.
You are now getting the downloads tags.

I’ve successfully upgraded to V 3.4.7 but the main issue remains. I assign all levels and see downloads, but when I log out and login I am no longer able to access downloads. All levels appear to be removed during logout.

There is no specific tag for pagination. It will show automatically based on the value of the paging and items_per_page parameters.
Please check the shortcode documentation appropriately.
[wpdm_category] – Query All Downloads From One or More Categories
On your specified circulares category there is only one package that’s why it’s showing one file.
Also, you can remove useless things by editing template files which I have described above.
It’s a simple plugin, you just need to configure it based on your requirement.
You can use the below shortcode instead.

I’m sorry I should have added, here’s what I have now for a shortcode, it’s in ascending order but I’m guessing that is listed by order of how it’s added to the downloads. I need it to be alphabetical.

I have checked that, you have already hidden the options which are needed for set Allow Access role for frontend upload. It needs to set allow access role while creating packages from frontend upload. And if you are trying to set, roles will be able to manage all ( their own and others ) packages from front-end, please check the option from Front-end Administrator Roles option from Downloads > Settings > Frontend Access, please let me know if you have more query.

I am just starting to use WPDM Pro for downloads on http://www.btog.org and would like all PDFs to open in a new tab rather than the same window.
I can do it with a url such as https://www.btog.org/?wpdmdl=19184&ind=1645618767930 – then set to target=blank etc, but I generally use the widget template and would like to use a shortcode such as [wpdm_package id='XXXXX']

Since every update I have a problem with your plugin, again I have a problem.
The archive plugin is not working. Its installed again since my license was not registered but payment was done but I still can’t get it to work. Frustrating because it was working and after each time I update something broken…
