you can change the url slug downloads from WPDM Basic settings.

Category URL base is shown when you are visiting download category archive.

Package URL base is shown when you are visiting download/package details page.

Archive Page slug is used to show downloads/packages archive page,

https://domain.com/downloads [ this is the URL when Archive Page slug downloads and this page shows all packages/downloads ]

The contents of the .htaccess file is

If the downloads still not found then check the PHP error log if you have anything there.

Create a dir named download-manager inside your active theme dir, copy wpdm-all-downloads.php from /plugins/download-manager/tpls/ to{active theme dir}/download-manager/, now open and edit the file.

And remove the link tag from 251 to remove the link from the title.and for category 222 no line.

You can put all your downloads file in uploads/download-manager-files directory. Then you can put filename with space like (abc.txt,another-file.doc,other-file.pdf) in the CSV file and map it to WPDM:files fields.

Maybe WPDataTable plugin loading it’s own datatable js/css. You can remove WPDM’s datatable js/css from /download-manager/tpls/wpdm-all-downloads.php file. That should fix the conflict. Or if there is any option in WPDataTable to disable the js you can try that.

You can change the login form location by changing the page template. The login form is shown in the position of the download button. So, use a template where the download button is at the bottom. Or you can just create a new page template from Downloads Templates page.

You can also hide all contents from Downloads Settings Basic Access Settings When user is not allowed to download

Actually, 500 error should come up for various reason that includes corrupted .htaccess or lower memory limit. As sometimes the downloads works, I tried to debug but not found any problem with the plugin. There might be issue with the server side. You may contact server admin or follow this.

Downloads depend on the internet speed. So, it can’t be same in everywhere. Are you using GoDaddy hosting? Is there any firewall enabled? Have you any PHP error in the log file?

You can show packages from certain categories with the all packages shortcode. But there is no option available for tags. You need to use the shortcode on any page to show the packages there. You can use TinyMCE button to easily insert the shortcode.

You can do customize design for wpdm-all-download by putting the wpdm-all-download.php file into the ActiveTheme/download-manager/ folder and modifying it.
