Hello, we are currently relaunching a website. In the old website we used the Download Manager pro in version 5.0.2.

For the new website we have bought a new licence in version 5.3.5.

At that time, we had placed all files individually in folders so that the files could always be renewed without having to make adjustments in the Download Manager. Normally, folders are always downloaded zipped and the file inside is not opened in the browser.

We were able to make this possible by changing the template to:

[download_link_dynamic] and the corresponding function:

However, this no longer works with the new version. Only the [file_list] opens the file in the browser, but the associated URL is enormously long.

Since the export from the old version does not work, we have managed this with wpallimport. I noticed that the field __wpdm_package_dir does not show the linked folder in the package after the import as expected.

What is the reason for this?

Most importantly, however:

how do I get it with the new version that the folder is not zipped, but the single file in it is opened in the browser?

The JumpStart Theme features a few front page Product boxes. When hovered over, you see the a “Live Demo” and “More Info” buttons appear for two the products list, while the others only have the “More Info” button.

I’m requesting the user ability to:
1) Add an additional custom button into a product box, next to the “More Info” button
2) Add custom text/rename the button such as “Watch Now” or other user-typed entries that become the button text
3) Add a Link/URL into the custom button. The URL can be entered into back-end admin area on the product’s specific edit-mode area

It is not clear how to get the “Live Demo” button to appear. But altogether a user-enabled and modifiable button as described above is far more useful. The “More Info” button takes the viewer the product’s download page but there are many other scenarios to cover when we want to send them elsewhere.

Please tell me, how to use URL-Parameter like https://my-url/downloads/?category=cat_slug to auto pre-select an single category and its downloads. If I use the parameter >category=cat_slug< within the above line, it sure will pre-select the category but will NOT pre-select the correspondending drop-down-fields and for my users it is not clear what they are looking at because the formfield for category only tell “please select”.

Hi, I’m having problems with the menus on the archive page, when I click to display the submenu it adds this to the url # collapse-4134 and it does not display the submenu,

I have had this problem before and you have added this code on my site and it worked, but it stops working now,
