Can someone please tell me why the add-on update feature I try to use deletes my plugins?
This is very frustrating, considering should be a simple process.

If you are using very old version of wpdm pro, you need to follow the following steps first to update wpdm pro:
1. Deactivate and Delete Old version
2. Download the latest version from premium download area https://www.wpdownloadmanager.com/user-dashboard/purchases/
3. Install and Activate the latest version.
