Okay, I am recording a video with a proper way to change the icon and add the description to a existing package. Allow me a moment.
First, create an export file from the old site using Download Manager(Downloads > Import & Export > Create Export File). This export will not include the description field. Import this file into the new site without the descriptions(Downloads > Import & Export > Select CSV file).
Next, create another export file from the old site using WP All Export, this time including the description field. In this export, keep only the ID, title, and description fields. Import this file(Downloads > Import & Export > Select CSV file) into the new site to update the items with their descriptions.

If you’d like, you can share the exported CSV file (from WP All Export, including descriptions), and I can try importing it for you.
Of course Download Manager supports partial data import as you can see we can now import tags, categories and icons.

I suggested using the All Export plugin so you can export the CSV with the description included, since the Download Manager export file currently doesn’t provide that field. Both export and import should work with the All Export plugin.

For unlimited downloads, you don’t need to set any limits for paid subscribers just leave the download count unchanged. For free members or guest users, set the download limit to 2 and the reset period to 2 days.
