Hi Gary,

Please install the latest version to fix the issue. Follow these steps to update the plugin,

1 ) Deactivate and delete the old version. You won’t lose any data.

2) Download latest version from here https://www.wpdownloadmanager.com/user-dashboard/?udb_page=purchases

3 ) Install the latest version and activate the license key.

I have customized the child theme. Now packages will be shown only when the user has access to it.

You have to remove “All visitors” from “Allow Access” option in all packages settings. Do the same thing for all categories too from category settings.

Hi,

Expiration email is sent automatically using cron job. No settings are required for that. If you are not setting the plan to be expired than you don’t need this feature.

Looks like you SMTP setup is incomplete. SMTP plugin is showing the following warning,

“Gmail SMTP plugin cannot send email until you enter your credentials in the settings and grant access to your web application.”

Please try again after setting up SMTP and let me know the update.

The template file for login/recover pass is /download-manager/tpls/wpdm-login-form.php

To use your own template copy this file and place it in /active-theme/download-manager/wpdm-login-form.php location. The make necessary changes.

Sorry for the delayed reply.

[doc_preview] is a template tag. You have to use it inside a link/page template, not in the page content.

You are using Free version there which doesn’t support custom template. You have to update to Pro version to use the custom template or edit the plugin file to add the [doc_preview] tag in an existing template.

Generate a temporary download link for this purpose. Masterkey is used for sharing a premium file without payment.

This is a known issue with the latest version. We will fix it in next release.

If you want to patch it temporarily please copy the code from here and override the code of /download-manager/libs/class.FileList.php file with the copied code.

Do you want to replace the download button with a link to the pacakge details page? Yes, it is possible. You can add the details page link with the package title too. Update profile working now. The issue may be related to your wp-config.php file. <?php wp_nonce_field(NONCE_KEY, '__wpdm_epnonce'); ?> is not generating the nonce field in edit profile form. Skipped the nonce check to fix the issue.
