Find this code exclude_from_search' ► (bool)get_option('__wpdm_exclude_from_search', false), in /download-manager/download-manager.php file and change falseto true

That should exclude downloads from the search result.

You have set the settings properly for your related folder, it will sync now automatically

from this path plugins\download-manager\tpls\lock-options\email-lock-form.php file.

The modal will close after 5 sec. downloading the file.
