Settings automatically take the server path and also depends on the admin. Sometimes it may skip the trailing slash or add. Some servers take the folder list without a trailing slash too. So it basically depends on the condition. I hope you have understood now.

The download packages are showing, because, they are conflicting with the download packages allow access option. For categories hierarchy, giving access to a certain category for a particular role you have to set from the edit category option, then you have to make empty for the Allow Access option or have to give a particular role on it like as I image attached or as usual for the select member option too,

because

Package Access = Package Access + All Category Access = All Visitors + Author = All Visitors

and Package Access = Package Access empty + Category Access(Author) = Author

or Package Access = Package Access(Author) + Category Access(Author) = Author

Hope you are well. please check now, I have added a template tag called [product_preview] in your custom template. Thus, it is showing the attached file’s thumbnail. However, some attached images are rendering 404images, because they were attached through the media library upload option. so they are not processed for thumbnail generating, please use instead Server File Upload option or Select Files option. I hope it will work fine then.

Sorry for your inconvenience. [file_list_extended] will not work in the WPDM free version. Because it doesn’t need a file list tag as there is no multi-file upload option. You can use the [product_preview_WxH] tag in the link or page template Wand Hshould be replaced by width and height ( number ) accordingly. please check and let me know if it works for you.

The package master URLs you have shared both are premium packages, for premium packages you have to purchase the package first then you will have access to downloading the files, so from the basic condition, the master URL will not work for them.
