This seems like a very basic capability, to be honest. I realize this is a tremendously powerful program for a very low price, and for that I am very grateful. And I know that many users will complain no matter how “cheap” the cost is. I’m not one of those folks. But I do think, in this case, that having to pay for custom programming or for an add-on for something as basic as filtering one additional field is a little “unfair” to those of us who paid for the plugin in the first place.
We can already display all the results of a single category with a shortcode, with a multitude of different parameters. Adding one more (i.e., tags=”x,y,z”) seems like it should have been done in the first place, not something we should have to pay extra to get added in to an existing shortcode.
Perhaps I am blind to the amount of effort involved in this, so forgive me if that’s the case….and I realize that you are hard at work building other awesomeness into this plugin already, all of which does not go unnoticed….but my cursory understanding of the code suggests that it’s not a complex thing to implement. So perhaps you can elaborate on what all needs to be done, so we can try to sort it out ourselves? Maybe we can do this with a custom query of some sort, rather than paying for additional coding.
