I’ve already spoken with the Blocksy theme developers and disabled the respective scripts.

The problem persists.

As I mentioned earlier… the problem is with the wpdm pro plugin.

Your only solution was to tell me that the “Attire” theme doesn’t have an issue with modal windows.

Not all WPDM PRO subscribers run their websites with the “Attire” theme… they should provide a comprehensive solution so the plugin is compatible with most WordPress themes.

I’ve tried the Blocksy theme, the Kadence theme, Neve Theme… three popular WordPress themes. And the problem persists. The modal windows won’t close.

Don’t you think they should fix this issue with the WPDM plugin so it’s compatible with most popular WordPress themes?

I’ve already confirmed that the issue is fixed with version download-manager-6.6.3.

I just verified that the problem is with the recent WPDM updates.

I tried downgrading the WPDM PRO plugin and the problem was fixed.

I tested it with version download-manager-6.6.3.

– Please fix this bug in the next update.

As I mentioned earlier, I’ve already deactivated all plugins and changed the theme.

And the problem persists.

The same thing happens when we use the [popup_link] shortcode from the WPDM Extended Shortcodes extension.

The modal window cannot be closed when we click outside the modal window or on the dark background.

So why did they put the option to configure “Limit Reset Period:” per day?

Is there a contradiction? Or did this option never serve any purpose?

Yes. The solution was to change the version of the Blocksy theme to the one from a few months ago.

Apparently there is an incompatibility of a version of the Blocksy theme with WPDM

Ads are only displayed through the backend.

They are not displayed through the frontend

I have disabled all plugins except wpdm and the problem continues
