What version of WordPress are you running? We saw this with WP 3.51. Download Manager 4 uses new functions not available until 3.6.
Is the wpdm-archive update going to be released soon? We had also asked about adding an option to the shortcode to set the sort order which you said would be in the next update as well.
Thanks
Thanks
Unfortunately, changing the format of the quotes in the file doesn’t help. The packages import fine, but the access does not get set so that anyone can download a file even though I am using “guest” as the access. I still get the permission denied text file when I click download. It was my understanding that if I import a package with “guest” in the access field, then the access would be set to “All Visitors” so anyone visiting my site could view/download the files.
Is the advanced csv importer ready?
Is the next update to the wpdm-archive add on due to come out soon?
Awesome – thanks
Here is the csv file I am testing with.
I thought the permissions were working, but we still don’t get the access set properly when we import using guest. I have tried using the sample import you provide with the app and just changing the category ids and dates. This does not work either. The administrator role gets access, but when you try to access the files without being logged in, the permission denied text file is downloaded.
When I go and edit the imported package, I get the following message in the php log file:
PHP Warning: in_array() expects parameter 2 to be array, string given in /Applications/MAMP/htdocs/dptc/wp-content/plugins/download-manager/tpls/metaboxes/package-settings.php on line 73
And the package access is not set to All Visitors.
Thanks
Is there any plan to change this? It makes it confusing as you lose where you are as soon as you click on a sub-category if each category has similar sub-categories. For example, we have categories by topic and then each category has the same subcategories for forms, presentations. papers, etc.
Any update on availability of this yet?
I thought I tried that, but it works, so thanks.
So, the permissions are working, but categories still don’t map from the import file.
Can you tell me which files changed in 4.06?
Is this update available yet?
Any update on when this might be available?
Any progress on this one?
The settings are under the download menu in the admin dashboard.
Thanks
Thanks – Could you also look at the category mapping on CSV import? I have gotten everything else to work.
Is there any way to change the color and font for the category label in the top left without editing functions.php source code?
This isn’t working for me. I have to open every package and manually set All Visitors. I have attached the sample csv import file I am using.
Great – thx
Great – thank you.
