you simply need to check ” Set as private reply” , then only you and me will able to see the message.

you can apply it from the access option in package settings, if you set access = user group A for a package, then user group B will not be able to download it.
the individual download will not work for link template when its password protected. but we have enabled the option already for next update which is coming within next next monday.
