yes, you simply need to create a csv file where every row will have all package data and after upload though CSV importer you will have option to map data with wpdm fields.

acutally v3.3.8 may not work properly with latest version of wp and they have changed many things lately. You may need to update to pro v4 or free v2.7 ( http://www.wpdownloadmanager.com/download/wordpress-download-manager-v2-7-0/ )

yes, for multi-file it just shows zip, anyhow it is plugin feature and I shall adjust it on next update 🙂
