it is not for update, the issue is happening because your link template code is not correct, you used like <a href="[downloadl_link]">, but [download_link] tag generates full html code for download link, there you need to user [downlaod_url] tag, like <a href="[downloadl_url]">

download manager plugin dir name must be download-manager, somehow it it renamed to download-manager-3 in your side.
Please use http://www.wpdownloadmanager.com/download/advanced-tinymce-button/ to generate short-code, there you will see an option to select template, and you need to select Link Template = “Only Link/Button”

wpdm has nothing to do with that actually, it is simply causing by safari’s own settings/options.

I changed /wp-content/plugins/wpdm-extended-shortcodes/js/jqueryFileTree.js
if you need other plugins, may you please contact the other plugin developer to adjust the issue, as the issue is coming form the other plugin.

It is conflict with another plugin “google-apps-login”, you need to disable that plugin.
