Actually so such problem with ssl except there is somehow coming protocol conflict, it is working for other users with https properly activated in both side. Another client is using https is https://maldboy.com/upload/
it not an issue with ssl, but it is happening because of protocol conflict, try using https for both front-end and backend, rather then using it in any specific url at front-end.
The issue you seeing now is actually coming from wp’s native media library, not from wpdm and it is also related to protocol (http and https) mismatch . Anyhow https://dev.expresspcb.com/wp-admin/ showing error “Secure Connection Failed”
Anyhow you may also try “open in browser” option from download manager settings page.
No problem :), if you use parameter order_by="title" order="ASC", but if you usejstable=1` with short-code it will be sorted by title by default and sorting parameters will be omitted.
For author, you need to create new user from admin menu users add new , then you will have those names in the dropdown and then you can select, it is wp’s default feature, wpdm has nothing to do with that.

[wpdm_tree category=”category-slug”] only will show all packages from category-slug, but not sure about wpml process.
Then, you need to create/use German translation file for wpdmpro too, you can get English .po file form /download-manager/languages/ dir and create DE file. However, you can get German translation from here http://www.wpdownloadmanager.com/support/topic/download-manager-language-files/ , which is not very up to date but may give you a head start.
for now it support single mail list, anyhow we have planned to add download specific mail list with the next update of the add-on

please delete the short-code, and “write” again, don’t copy/paste, or use the add-on http://www.wpdownloadmanager.com/download/advanced-tinymce-button/ to generate short-code.
