When I add a paid ebook to download, and the payment option is PayPal, its not gving me credit card checkout by PayPal (when checked via mobile browser).

Hope you are well. Can you please let me know the credit card option you are getting from Desktop browser and the option you are not getting from the Mobile device, also please let me know which browser you are trying from mobile. Please kindly check.

In PayPal checkout, visitors can pay using credit cards and using PayPal itself. Check the screenshot:
But in the mobile Chrome or Safari browser, I can not see the credit card option. Check the screenshot below, it’s from mobile:

This behavior is actually controlled by PayPal, not the plugin. On mobile devices, PayPal sometimes hides the “Pay with Debit/Credit Card” (guest checkout) option and encourages users to log in to their PayPal account instead.
This can depend on:
Your PayPal account settings (guest checkout enabled or not)
User location and PayPal regional policies
PayPal’s mobile UI behavior
We recommend checking:
That “PayPal Account Optional” (guest checkout) is enabled in your PayPal account
Testing from different devices, browsers, or networks
Trying in an incognito/private browser window
If the option is still not visible on mobile, it is likely due to PayPal’s own checkout flow and restrictions rather than an issue with Download Manager.

i can understand, you have the login, can you edit.
i dont want the user to start registration after buying, just to get the ebook after buying.

where to add the shortcode exactly? [ wpdmpp_guest_orders]
Please kindly check the documentation, and you can add those shortcodes for those pages for purchasing your packages/files. You can also test via the test payment. Please kindly check from Download > Settings > Premium Package > Frontend Settings and shortcode documentation.

Please check the screenshot below and you can see how there is no fronted setting under the premium package…
So please do me a favour and add a screenshot of where i can edit and add!!
Really sorry for the confusion. you can see the tab, the first tab called Basic, before Payment tab, please navigate it, then under Basic settings, you shall find the Frontend Settings and the page select option as I image attached,
