Help needed WPDM upgrade download errors

Dear WPDM Team,
I’m desperate.

My (free) WPDM version is 3.1.28 and I’ve been trying to update to version 3.2.11 resp. 3.2.12 since more than 2 weeks now. The forum posts do not help me to solve the problem:

Every time, after upgrading WPDM I don’t see the downloads in my download folder anymore. The same is, when I go to our page for students, where downloads are listet.

Instead of the downloads appears the following:
589db014cecf8.php
589db014cecf8.php
589db014cecf8.php
589db014cecf8.php
…
Downloading by link still functions.

I’m running WP 5.8.

Our WPDM Plugins are
WPDM – Archive Page Version 2.8.5
WPDM – Dropbox Explorer Version 1.2.0
WPDM – Extended Short-codes Version 2.7.2
WPDM – Google Drive Version 1.2.0
WPDM – TinyMce Button Version 2.5.0

Can you please, please help me to find the mistake, which I make when upgrading WPDM?

Hello,
Hope you are well. And sorry for the inconvenience. We have released the latest version 3.2.12 of the WPDM plugin and add-ons. According to the latest update of WPDM, you also need to update the other add-ons as well. Please update them, or you can download the latest version add-ons from here.
I hope it will work fine then. If it doesn’t work, please, give your temporary wp-admin login details in a private reply for checking the issue.
Also, please share the related page/file/package URL with us where the issue exists.

Hello @b-maria,
In order to use the latest version, you have to renew/purchase the WPDM – Archive Page Version 4.1.6 add-on. The rest of the plugins are free.
You, don’t have to copy the files into the server. Just install the plugins throw the WordPress plugin installation area by following this and then replace old versions with the new/downloaded versions.
Also, since it’s a live website so are you giving me permission to install these plugins?
However, please share the related page/file/package URL with us where the issue exists.
