I upload a file but it shows as “No File Uploaded yet!”. The files are in /wp-content/uploads/download-manager-files/ but not linking. I have deactivated all plugins, I have deactivate theme, I am still having the same issue.

I might have found a bug in your plugin.

My customer has permalinks set to: “/%postname%”

So the urls are:

• example.com/about-us
• example.com/services
• example.com/contact
• …

He is using the shortcode [wpdm_category] with the “item_per_page” atrribute.

The problem is that urls in the pagination are like this:

• example.com/example-page/?cp=2
• example.com/example-page/?cp=3
• example.com/example-page/?cp=4
• …

Because of the permalink structure without a “/” at the end all urls get redirected.

• example.com/example-page/?cp=2 redirects to example.com/example-page?cp=2
• example.com/example-page/?cp=3 redirects to example.com/example-page?cp=3
• example.com/example-page/?cp=4 redirects to example.com/example-page?cp=4
• …

I fixed it by making a change in this file:

/wp-content/plugins/download-manager/src/wpdm-functions.php
(function: wpdm_paginate_links)

$phtml = str_replace( "/?cp=", "?cp=", $phtml );

Obviously just a quick fix. 🙂

I guess your plugin expects that every WordPress website uses / at the end – but this is not the case.

Is there a setting to remove the trailing shlash in the pagination?

Hello, I have a problem with my files on android devices, whenever someone tries to download a package of files (zip), it will be corrupted on phone; if someone tries to download the files individually, the plugin will add to the extension .zip (in my case it will be evx64.apk.zip) and it is as well corrupted. This error occurs only on android, on pc, you can open packages without problems, and individual files have the right extension (.apk).
I mention that I added .apk and .zip mime types, added them to “allowed upload files” in plugin settings, and tried multiple times to re-upload my files.

I don’t use all the plugin features, so I would like to migrate the download manage pro version to the free version. Can I do it without any problems or would I lose all existing download links?

Hi, I just starting to use this plugin and need a bit of suggestion please. currently I have 2 issues.

Download Issue
1. I can’t find the option where it forced download instead of opening in new window, hide the direct url and disable direct link download.

Security Issue (this is in learndash area)
1. I have setup access to a certain membership level but it doesn’t seem to work, I test dummy account with no permission (copy and paste the link) and it can open the download just fine.
2. I tried Elementor addin and add download button on a page in Learndash, the shortcode where it is a Title has a link that don’t allow download which is good. On the other hand the download button that come with the shortcode (on the right hand side) has difference link and it can open download same as download button widget (the security access doesn’t work)

I’m a bit confused, your suggestion will be much appreciated.
