Trying to upgrade to v4, and I’m having problems with templates.
It appears many of the styles are missing from the inbuilt templates, for instance row-fluid, span9
Below Is the call for action 2 template: most of the meeting classes are not defined.

After being told 3.3.8 is no longer supported, I thought I would have another go and looking at 4, on our development server… What a disaster.
Primarily we only use wpdm_category short code, to list downloads using a custom link template and then a custom page template.
I followed the upgrade notes in the thread at the top of this forum.
1. Only the top it appears in the categories interface only the top level categories are listed after the migration, subcategories are not listed.
2. The categories contents i.e. the packages associated to the categories have all been lost, So it appears I have to edit every package to reallocate them to the appropriate categories.
4. The link templates need to be reapplied.
5. The all link templates styling has all been lost / different from 3.3.8
6. Our custom link templates no longer display correctly.
Basically it appears the Style in version 4 is completely different to 3.3.8, I see at a class style w3eden everywhere where as in the past it was wpdm-pro
Is there a quick way to reinstate the old styling?.
I see the following error:
which means zlib is not installed or not working properly, please contact your server/hosting support to check zlib or reinstall zlib.

Did you have a moment to take a look at my problem?
The client really wants to add more docs and thats not possible now.
I also tried if it would work with all other plug-ins, including WPML, turned off but I still get empty downloads.
I am looking forward for your answer.

all downloads short-code will not show everything else properly except facebook lock option, as fb like button sometimes failed to load in popover, but there is nothing to do with wpdm pro. for facebook locked package need to go to package details page to download. Again many thousands of users using wpdm pro without any frustration. so in your case it can’t be my fault. anyhow I’ve already replying each of your query in quickest possible time.

I’ve used the “all packages” shortcode and the list comes up, but none of the “lock” options are working. Two days into this and I’m ready to fight for my money back…unless I can get this working.

For some reason the download pop-overs are not loading on my site any more – all was fine a couple of weeks ago, and as far as I know nothing has changed. I am running v3.3.5 (haven’t upgraded as I don’t want to break the site).

[wpdm_my_downloads] don’t take category as parameter.
if you want to show specific categoy you need to use [wpdm-all-packages category="category-slug"]
Ok I have bought the add-on.
I am using [wpdm_my_downloads] but can I set a category to show only not all docs?

Try it again. I have enabled the Facebook share lock and it doesn’t work. I also can’t seem to figure out how you created the “All Downloads” link on your page. That is what I”m looking for.

That pacemark if it has a lot of content it itso getting bigger but it will not do the same with shortcodes javascript (maybe some conflict ) see images

For some reason i still have problem with zip file. It has 0 bytes size.
Also i noticed that download counter is now counting when someone downloads individual files. Why is that hapening.
And finaly. When i try to use arxhive page [wpdm-archive button_style=”default”] on a specific place on the page filtering is not working.

I need to secure the downloads for my client and he is asking for a very specific way to do things. I want to know if I am able to do this (described below) with the Micro Form add-on. or to what extent will add on’s do this?
to access the downloads, there should be a login (username or email, preferably email) and password, or the option to register an account. The register account fields would be full name, company name, phone number and email address. My client wants to control access by email address, so when someone registers, he will have to confirm or deny that email address having access.
Once the email address is confirm, all the user has to do is enter their email address and it gives them access to the downloads.
Is this, or something like this remotely possible? do you have any suggestions on some similar way to do this? or if its custom work, is it something you would be willing to assist with for an additional fee?

We do not want to show all our downloads on the archive page, only ones from certain categories.
Is there an easy way to do this?
I’m using WPDM Pro 4.0.6. I’ve created a custom link template using Downloads -> Templates and I can see that the template is being used in [WPDM-archive]. That’s all good.
However, I also want the link template to be used whenever packages are listed in other search results. This should be when using site search, tag cloud or using the category list. Whenever the download is displayed in those results some default WP template is used but I want the custom link to be used.
Can you please advise how I might achieve this?

yes, there are no option for tag archive, as it is actually theme part, you can use a theme from here http://www.wpdownloadmanager.com/downloads/themes/ , in those theme pages are specially designed for wpdm.
