We built our woocommerce site and then determined our downloads needed enhanced security. They have worked together well for 2 years, but not so well now.
Do you really intend to walk away from this market?
Please simply click the Save Settings again for license key option from Downloads > Settings > License
, that will regenerate the access token. Finally, go to plugins page and update will work fine this time
Or,
1 ) Download the latest version from here https://www.wpdownloadmanager.com/user-dashboard/?udb_page=purchases
2 ) Install the latest version and activate the license key.
thanks
For archive page, please use the latest updated shortcodes from here, https://www.wpdownloadmanager.com/download/wpdm-directory-add-on/, the shortcode has been updated. And for update plugin, please simply click the Save Settings again for license key option from Downloads > Settings > License
, that will regenerate the access token. Finally, go to plugins page and update will work fine this time
thanks

Thank you for your quick reply. I reinstalled the Advanced Access control and can see the options but the files are not showing up where they should. I see them in the “my downloads” however they aren’t showing up where I have a template. Does the template code below need updating?
<div class=’media’>
<table width=”100%” border=”0″ cellpadding=”3″>
<tbody>
<tr>
<td height=”10″ colspan=”3″>
<span class=”media-body” style=”text-align: left”>
<p style=”text-align: left; font-size: large;”>[title]<br>
<span style=”font-size: xx-small”>(updated: [update_date])</span> </p>
</span></td>
</tr>
<tr>
<th width=”85%” scope=”col”><span class=”media-body” style=”text-align: left; font-size: x-small;”>[file_list] </span></th>
</tr>
</tbody>
</table></div>
When a user logs in files are not showing up that they should have access to. It actually wasn’t working before I updated to the latest version so I thought I should update everything but it still doesn’t work. On the user dashboard it doesn’t show “my downloads” like it should and when I go to a file to select the user it should be shared with the option is not there.
Hi,
we have upgraded to V5.3.3, but still can’t get wpdm_category or wpdm_packages to work.
What we require is a list of downloads showing:
- All packages of the specified category and any child categories
- Filtered by one or more tags (i.e. win32 AND dropbox)
We have created a test page here. Category pse402b20308 is a child of category erp-scale-pse.

Have you checked this option as I image attached,

from Downloads > Settings > Basic > Access Settings > When user is not allowed to download:
, please check and let me know
thanks
Hello,
Please go to Downloads > Settings > Licence
save settings again for license key option, that will regenerate the access token. Finally, go to plugins page and update will work fine this time

Sorry for your inconvenience, it is working fine now here, https://www.antarescooperativa.it/105-2/, you have to give the User Access from here too as I image attached,

from the edit category section, thus it should work. I have changed a small change for checking this issue,
When the user is not allowed to download > Block download links only
from Downloads basic settings
thanks

Thanks. Given I’m using a code provided by you on your website, perhaps you could update your documentation to reflect that the code may need tweaking to work.
The code I used is from this page: https://www.wpdownloadmanager.com/doc/short-codes/wpdm_all_packages-list-all-downloads-in-tabular-format-in-a-page/
Which states:
“This Short-code will list All Packages/Downloads in tabular format with sorting and searching options:
[wpdm_all_packages login=1 thumb=1 items_per_page="20" categories="slug1,slug2,..." jstable=1 order_by="field_name" order="ASC/DESC" cols="title,file_count,download_count|categories|update_date|download_link" colheads="Title|Categories|Update Date|Download::155px"]
If there are things to change by the end-user, I just feel it should be clearer for your customers. I would certainly hope that any further advice you provide is not so condescending (ie. “just do it properly”), or I may look elsewhere for another solution for our website.
When I click download, it only downloads a text file that says “Sorry! Download is not available yet.”
Plus, it allows me to download it as many times as I want. I need it to only be downloadable ONCE per computer.
Yes, I can’t remember if I undid the setting I had — but the Pic Test I had the setting for Administrator only, I also had it set for Private and also set in a Category for admins only. So- before you log, if you go to Home Page, then drop down Down Load Page, all downloads are visible to the Public, and I don’t want that. 2nd If you login as a subscriber again on the Download Page all the Downloads are visible but the one, Pic Test has access denied when I believe it should not even be visible to a subscriber since it is only set for Admins.

Again perhaps this is the way it works in older Utube vids setting the downloads to certain groups like Admin meant only Admins could see the download.
No.
You can go here: https://franksdata.com/wp2/download-page/ and see that the downloads are listed before you log in – I don’t want them listed so the public or anyone can see what download listing there are until the register and logged in.
Part 2 is when you do register and login, setting permissions for a download let’s say for just Admins, and or a category, regular Users still see the download but with an Access Denied attached to it, I’m not sure, it this is how it is suppose to work, but when I restrict a download to a group, I don’t think other groups should see it at all.
Example of the first is listed above, lmk, if you need access to the admin panel, it is only a test site for now.
Again thanks,
You shall get from Downloads > Settings > Basic > Misc Settings
, please check and please let me know if it works for you
thanks
So I keep having the same issue. Whenever I download the coupon, it downloads a text file that says “Sorry! Download is not available yet.”
It also isn’t limiting the download to one download per computer.
I am creating the coupons with the Coupon Creator Plugin, which seems to be working great, as I just add in the shortcode. Coupon Creator allows for download as well, but it is still not being limited to one download per computer.

Hi there,
sorry I know this is an old post, but I can’t use the pro forum. I have to know if this is possible before buying.
I have exactly the same question. We have a multisite network with 3 Pages/Domains and on all of them we want to publish a site with the exactly same downloads. You mentioned it can be accomplished by custom coding. Cost this adding extra and when yes, how much? Will the customization be update save?
All the best,
Steve
Hello, the plugin version is 1.2.6, which is according to the information from the provider of the latest version. The plugin does not even report that there is a newer version. I do not assume that this problem is in the older version. Please write me what the code should look like, which after clicking on the link or button will display the PDF in a pop-up window, as you state on your page. I tried the code: <a href="[file_list]"> View PDF </a>
, unfortunately this one only downloads the PDF again. I think this is the primary problem for all users of this plugin, because the Download manager does not offer document viewing by default.

1. I’m getting an error ‘Error loading block: Invalid parameter(s): attributes’ when trying to add a filter option ‘Order By’ in the ‘All Downloads Table’ block.
2. Also filtering by ‘Update Date’ on any page with this block does not work properly. Even here: https://demo.wpdownloadmanager.com/wpdmpro/gutenberg-table-builder/ – it works wrong and mixing content.

How to fix?
