Just upgraded to the latest version of Download Manager Pro on my staging site and all but two of my downloads are appear as this text 5b59060fc08e3.php.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi, we have recently moved all 500 of our downloads to a new server along with thumbnails. We now need to change all 500 download url’s & thumbnail url’s to the new sever. We have kept the file structure intact, just the website url has chnaged. Is there a way to automatically do this as it will take a long time to do it manually?
Any help would be much appreciated.

I was using EDD before recently switching to WPDM. Most of my users had multiple downloads on their account that they are now unable to access since I switched to WPDM.
What I want to know is, how do I add/assign downloads to those users. With EDD I was able to add any download to a user. Is there a way to do this with WPDM? I really need this.
I have exported everything via WP export and imported it to a new subsite. It pulls over all posts pages and media and even populates the downloads, but nothing is showing in my accordion. I have it set up and working on a staging site where we are using the accordion add-on. But on the new site no matter what I do, no packages will show in the accordion. Another issues is all of the downloads have invalid files attached. They all have icons that have BL on them. When you try to download, it says there is nothing available.
Any input is greatly appreciated.

Even though I set the security method to allow people to leave their names and addresses, I do not know where the data is saved.

Adjust the cols and colheads parameter download_link and Download , thus the column will be removed. I hope you have understood.

Dear all,
I used the Insert Url feature for linking downloads to our external partner.
Since one of the last updates these URLs do not work anymore, which means instead of linking to the external URL the point to a “randomized” URL of my own webspace, which does not exist.

Once you click on Download it links to a page on my webspace (which does not exist) instead of the URL that was inserted in this package via the Insert URL.

Isn’t this shortcode to allow searching packages by tags. Reading the page that’s what it seems to be saying. But that’s not what happens.

I have pro version and I like to know if it is possible to set a download limit per 4 days for all users. So I have about 1400 files and sometimes people like to download about 65 files in 23 minutes… I do not like this at all.
My question is can I set a download limit per 4 days for all users…so like 2 downloads per 4 days or so. Next question is this also possible in the free version? I have another website that have still the free version.

Hope you are well. And really sorry for your inconvenience. Please simply click the Save Settings again for the license key option from Downloads > Settings > License and then please update the plugin from the wp-admin > plugins panel. For saving settings again for the license key option from Downloads > Settings > License, that will regenerate the access token. Thus the plugin will be updated, hope that, it will solve your issue.

Hi Nayeem, thanks for your quick response.
What we are trying to do is add an additional download button to the default link-template. This link would be to a form on another part of the website and would not be a download. However we don’t need that link on every download listing, but only on certain downloads.
We have both ACF and the WPDM – Advanced Custom Fields installed and activated. I have created a field group which allows me to add a link to each download page. So if that link field has been filled out we would like to display the button and link the button to the link in the custom field. But if the link is not filled out, we do not display the button.

It isn’t.
Changing the CSS made it worse. There was a lot of the user dashboards parts missing.
See attached on missing items.
There were a few more things that need to change.
1) AVATOR profile image placeholder needs to removed, there is nowhere someone can upload one in their dashboard. It is pointless.
2) When customers buy credit package, it doesn’t show up under their “Purchases” in the dashboard. Why? Is that for only products that were purchased from dollar price on product and purchased that way? If so, I need that removed too. All my products are ONLY credit based, not money.
Download History Section
1) Where do I change the words on the header of that table? I don’t want them called “Package Name”
2) The “Download Time” isn’t accurately reporting day and time. And it is 24hour time instead of 12 hour time. I don’t need IP field either.
3) Is it only last 5 downloads? Can it be all download history?

Sorry for this inconvenience.
I think you have just bought the wpdm and addons and at the first time you have to upload required plugins manually to your website. Addons menu is a very recent feature with the latest few versions. It may not allow the first installation.
However, I hope you can update wpdm and addons from Downloads > Settings > Updates
If you can’t update it directry from WordPress dashboard, Please update from here.
Let me know please if it works properly. Sometimes hosting permission doesn’t allow installation directly from website.

Yes, it is possible to make a download list with custom icons.
You can use this shortcode:
[wpdm_all_packages] – List all downloads in tabular format in a page
There is a parameter to use in the shortcode:
thumb: Optional, if you don't use this parameter, the table will show package icon, if you use thumb=1, it will show the feature image thumbnail instead of the icon
