Hello,

since yesterday we are getting the error message [ Invalid File Type (*.|=|)! ] when trying to download zip files, but we can not solve it with the here mentioned work around.
“Allowed file types to upload” are currently set to ‘jar,exe,zip,pdf’ which always worked perfectly.
Since yesterday the download of zip files doesn’t work anymore and triggers the mentioned error message.
Downloads of jar files are working as expected.

We already tried:

* setting allowed file types to ‘*’ or to ‘All’ > no success, same error
* deleting the zip file from server, re-uploading it and re-attaching it from server > no success, same error
* renaming the file to have no special characters > no success, same error
* adding another zip file to the package > no success, same error
* deactivating the email lock function > no success, same error
* deleting the complete download package and setting it up from scratch > no success, same error

Please note that the current setup has worked flawlessly in this form for many month/years.
Download .jar files is still working as expected.
Download .zip files all of a sudden generate the above mentioned error message.
No changes were made to the setup from our side.
We are using the Pro version 6.2.9 with E-Mail-Lock activated.

We are really at a loss and please urge timely support.

After updating to the latest download manager, the members download section of our website isn’t working.
Where it used to show the downloads archive, now it just displays the code:

It used to show categories from the downloads section, so you could navigate and download whatever manual or brochure you wanted from the back end of our website

What would the issue be here?

I am setting up a website in English and German. Downloads are Email Locked. In the popup used to submit Name and Email, all content remains in English, irrespective of the current language setting. What am I doing wrong? I hope you can help.

There is no way to translate the plugin, some text strings are not translated, I tried it manually and with loco translate.

Hey Support & Pro users, After contacting pre sales support. I was assured the Amazon s3 bucket add on will allow me to upload esisiting download packages but also the plugin was not working, I had to manually edit the plugin to add my region (It did not allow AF-South-1)

So my question now is, How do i upload my existing files (not new downloads/packages) existing files to the bucket as well. One of you support agents mentioned that this is possible.

Hello. Initially, my only 2 download links were visible in the downloads section of my website with the blue “download” button. This made it clear where my visitors should click to access my downloads. I recently downloaded 4 additional (and much smaller) files and I can see their blue “download” button. However, my first 2 downloads are no longer displaying the blue “download” button, which makes it impossible for my visitors to know where to click to access these files. Can you tell me what happened and how to fix this glitch? Thanking you in advance.

Having issues with the All Downloads Table not showing any Packages and not excluding categories. See images and more In the second image you can see that I’ve excluded a category (on the left), but it still shows in the dropdown. In the first image you can see 365 files found, nothing listed though. Testing URL link
