Hi everyone,
I created a Python script to automate file uploads using the REST API (I generated the key in the plugin) with this fantastic plugin. Everything works perfectly except for one issue.
Despite the user having the necessary permissions, after automatically uploading the files, the downloads don’t work unless I manually enter each automatically uploaded download and click “update”. I have realized this happens because the master key is not generated.
Is there a way to resolve this without having to manually enter each download and click “update”?

So right now, if you have 200 users, and overall around 5000 downloads spread across these users:The website owner has literally NO MEANS to see what downloads are assigned to user number 50?

Guide me on your demo – where do I go, to see all downloads, and see the users, so I can then filter by those the downloads are assigned?
ie. We have 200 clients, with 5000 downloads.
I want to see the downloads we have assigned to Client number 50.

The slight problem is, when someone logs in to handle all the uploads for the users, they go to the backend. Thre is no backend screen that shows all the Packages/Downloads, assigned to each user.
From what you are sayingw e need to create a link in a custom menu, that goes to a page using your Shortcode.
What exact shortcode do we need on a page, that will show ALL download Packages, and then be able to filter by user? (or search by user)?

I’d like you to be a little more elaborate on your reply please.
So in short, where we CREATE the packages and store them, there is no way to filter them by user to whom they are assigned.So we have to create a page for admins, with a shortcode that they allows us to view ALL downloads assigned to each user? It’s not making sense to me.
If I post a login as a private reply can you setup the page on our site for me, so I can see what you mean? It’s basically a list of ALL Packages created and then a means to filter by user.

Downloads > All Packagessection the feature may not available, but you can use this shortcode, it will show in the Downloads section the packages created by the user, https://www.wpdownloadmanager.com/doc/short-codes/wpdm_user_profile-public-profile-short-code. I don’t mean in that page.
I mean when the admins go to the Packages page, they can’t filter on anything.Downloads All Packages.
How do they go to this area, and filter by Users… or how do they do they anywhere else??It’s a major flaw for them as that’s where they add them all, so how do they now go to that page, and filter by the user, to see if that users has all the downloads they need?

Hello there, This is my subscription-based website where I offer pdf’s to be downloaded. Monthly users can download 3 reports per month, then after 3 downloads if anyone intends to download more reports (PDF), they will have to pay an additional 14.99$. Previously it worked. I had posts where the download button was there as well as another package of pdf that could be added to the cart. Right now when I am adding the shortcode of that 14.99$ package on any post on my WordPress. The page shows a critical error message.

Hi there!
Anytime i migrate a WP-Site (e.g. from staging.domain.com to newdomain.com) half of the files are not there anymore, error: “no files attached”. So i have to manually attach each download again. I did WP-Site migrations many times already, i never had those kind of issunes with a plugin.

Now it’s clear to me. It’s because of auto download option.
In free version there is no option called Disable Auto Download.Download Manager Pro offers the option to disable auto-downloads, here is the screenshot

Hi everyone.
My download button works ok on the page where I want to offer downloads.
But when I click on this button, a pop up window appears, I tick that I accept the Terms of service, then put the password that I have set up and eventually also click the captcha (I’am human).
Then the page refreshs and I see a nice green button in the popup window saying DOWNLOAD but the problem is that the download already begins without even having to push this download button!
I’d like the download to be effective ONLY if we push the Download button.
Can you help me?

Visitors of the site are not able to download files via the download manager form. Neither am I or other admins. We are all greeted with a “permission denied .txt file for any file that we attempt to download or view.

Is there any shortcode available to display a single dynamic counter of Total number of Downloads combined of all items from entire WP Download Manager ?If using the “file cart add-on” with “form lock” (in our case contact form 7) it is not possible to see who downloaded what. In our case we want to see the data that the user filled out in the form (name, e-mail, terms of use) and the files they downloaded. It is possible to send an E-Mail Notification via Contact form 7 with all the data to our admin but the files that have been downloaded are not shown there.
