Okay, thank you, that did work. I set the wpdm_download_link_expiration_limit to 1 in the plock if block.
I would have sworn I tried it with success more than 3 times before, but I must be mistaken since now it only allows 1 time, even if the same user copies the link URL and pastes in a new browser tab.
I can’t expect buyers of my software to register as a user on my site, and I also didn’t want to limit the downloads that 1 person supplying the proper password could download.
I will admit that I got a bit upset here at first, thinking I had purchased a plugin which seemed useless to me. But I am glad you responded with this workaround, and quite promptly I should not hesitate to add.

When a package is unlocked using the password the provided link allows 3 downloads using the URL key.
But, another user can download the package if only you have set
All Visitorsin allow access field. So, setting some user role will prevent anyone else to download the file in this scenario.If you want to keep the allow access field to ‘All Visitors’ and still want to allow only 1 download after password unlock, then you have to change the limit manually from

Please send temporary wp-admin login info, I have to check dashboard are to find what exactly is happening there.

Try changing the Resumable Download and Output Buffering options from Downloads Settings Basic File Download panel.
Did you install any new plugin recently? Sometimes this issue caused by unusual output made by another plugin.
If you can’t figure out the issue, send temporary wp-admin login info in private reply. Also, please send me a package URL where this issue exists.

I am working with Enfold Theme and have installed Downloadmanager Pro. Downloads are handled with Email Lock. But Pop-up window is transparent and confused with text below (see screenshot). Also sometimes it is positioning badly and it shows up half cut. Did not find any settings…
Is there a solution for this?

User stats only for Pro Membership downloads is not available yet. But you can check all download history in Downloads Stats page. Please look around stats options, there are some other stats available too.
By organization do you mean WordPress user role, or is it a custom user data?

Maybe your server is blocking connection to https://www.wpdownloadmanager.com/ However, it doesn’t affect the plugin functionalities. If you want you can ask your server support to allow the connection.

1 ) yes, possible. You can use a custom template for frontend upload where you can allow only the roles you want. Template Customization Doc.
2 ) No, it is not possible to build custom role using AAC. But there are lots of role manager plugins in wp.org, you can use any of them to create custom roles.

After Uninstalling, Reinstalling, adding a Downloads page and clearing W3TC cache, the message went away.

I’ve just installed this plugin and I’m getting this message coming up in my headers!
I’ve installed the TinyMCE button, but I doubt this could be the problem since I don’t have a downloads page yet.

yup, I understand that. But just be aware that the “fix” in that file, is not actually the fix. The fix is to use the correct URL. The file was supposed to contain a fix so that cross-domain access becomes a non-issue. This is how it should be, since multisite users often have sites with different domains, even on the admin side. As it stands right now, I have to create a special link to add downloads, and in some cases (such as editing an existing item) change the link after loading the page, because the standard link (in the admin sidebar menu) does not work. I hope you can provide a file that does fix this issue. Thanks.

Hi,
You can use Dropbox add-on to attach files from Dropbox.
But to restrict downloads user sign up is required. Otherwise, files will be accessible by all users as there is no way to classify guest users.
Your best option is using WPDM Pro with Advanced Access Control add-on. You can assign downloads to a specific user using AAC add-on.

If you are using category shortcode, no option available there to filter packages by category. You can just show packages from one or more categories. All packages shortcode has category filtering option.

The shortcode should work fine. Create a new page and name it my downloads. Then put the all packages shortcode there.

Topic: Email lock Download problem
Hello,
I bought the pro version there is a week to use the Email Lock for control the data sheets downloads on my woocommerce website.
I made a download test with the Email Lock on your demo website and it worked perfectly but when I tried to do it on my own website it didn’t worked at all.First there is no text area to fill with the name and the email and then when I click on the download link the page is just going up without doing anything else.
Do you have any solutions to fix it ?

Hi,
by adding the above code, it only downloads the manually uploaded packages with the title. However if we import using csv file, it does not applies on that, it gets downloaded by the file name itself instated if package title. by checking we found that when we upload a package manually the there is a section where where it shows the pdf file name, however by importing by csv its does not shows the filename there. Or may be any other issue would be there. Can you please help us identifying the issue.

This demo page is coming from the Crypton theme. We applied link template panel there in a customized layout. So, in your shortcode, you can use link template panel.
Insert your shortcodes using TinyMCE add-on. It has intuitive UI and you don’t have to memorize shortcodes.
To show all downloads in a page you can use
