I’m using DM Pro on a pretty basic website with a page that hosts downloads via a category and corresponding widget. How do I do this with the new DM Pro? I’ve attempted to use the Gutenberg editor block for categories (right?) but when I attempt to select the categories the categories flash for a millisecond and do not allow me to select the category – not showing.
Can you please provide me with a solution? Thank you in advance!

Topic: Log Every Download
Hi Shahriar,
Things are picking up again for my site, thanks for all your help so far!
In my old system, every download by a logged-in user is included in a statistics table. That is really useful for many reasons. One example of a good reason is that I’ve had some people join my site, download thousands of files and then sell them on eBay. My logs have helped me to get eBay to remove these sales and the people selling them. I could demonstrate the use of the same email address to eBay (and in fact the same country using the IP address).
I’ve placed restrictions on the number of downloads per day using your plugin and that is great. Purchases are tracked (even if they are discounted to free) and that is also great, but I can’t find a way to have visibility of free downloads.
Is it possible to track all downloads (including free ones) in WPDM?
If it is not possible yet, can you please provide me a quote for adding that?
If it is a big job to make a backend log, to make it easier I would be happy to just have the option of receiving an email for every download including free downloads. Currently, I receive an email for all purchases and that is great but I would like additional tracking for free downloads. An email method is fine if it is the easiest because I can filter and tag the received emails automatically.
If you require payment for this please discuss in a private message so that I can confirm.
Many thanks,
MikeI am not getting any stats for downloads, either in the “Stats” section or when I look at the packages list in all packages. I have tried disabling/enabling the Download Manager plugin (as I saw this suggested in another forum post), but still nothing.
My site, and the download links, can be seen here: https://www.pclexperte.de/digitale-downloads/
Any help would be great.
Trying to use the Bulk Import from CSV for first time.
My csv file:
title,description,link_label,password,quota,show_quota,show_counter,access,template,category,icon,preview,files,file_titles,file_passwords,file_prices,package_dir,individual_file_download,cache_zip,download_count,page_template,uid,create_date,update_date,password_lock,terms_lock,linkedin_lock,tweet_lock,gplusone_lock,facebooklike_lock,email_lock,custom_form_field,email_lock_idl,base_price,sales_price,tags,acf_MoreInfo_source,acf_MoreInfo_excerpt Test Title 1,,,,,,,um_certaccord-customer,,CertAccord Enterprise,,,test1.pdf,,,,/wp-content/uploads/certaccord/4.11,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,I go to Download Manager > Bulk Import and Import from CSV. I see “Import Completed” with green icon. No errors. When I go to Downloads All I do not see my test import.
Is there a place to look for errors?
I would like to host videos on my site, allow them to be downloaded but then have a preset expiration date on the video.
I am curious if what I am trying to accomplish is possible?
Hi Support,
I am having issues with packages that are purchased in Premium Package VS. packages that are not purchased.
When a package is purchased the downloads are only available in the Purchases page not in the user dashboard.
Is there any way to have purchased packages show up in both the user dashboard and the purchases pages? or just in the user dashboard like all others?
Please advise. Thank you.
Hello. I will be offering downloads to members. I have 3 memberships levels:
1) Basic (Free)
2) Premium (Paid)
3) Premium Plus (Paid)When I create a package, I will be setting it up so that certain memberships can access certain packages, but I would like to somehow visually differentiate which files are accessible to which member levels when people are viewing the link template in the grid view (i.e., simple archive).
What options do I have with the WP Downloader Plugin to label packages differently for different member levels?
1) Could the “download” button or the “view more” details button be a different color (or the button text read differently) depending on the minimum membership level that is required to download the file? Perhaps marking the Basic ones as “Basic”, the Premium as “Premium”, and Premium Plus as “Premium+”. If so, how do I do edit the this as part of a template?
2) Is there anyway to have the thumbnails that are automatically created in the link template have something stamped onto the image that says which membership level the file is for?
3) Is there somewhere that I can view all of the different button classes that are available to select from and preview how each button style looks (i.e., class=”btn btn-secondary”). I tried this page, but don’t see any buttons listed: http://demo.wpdownloadmanager.com/wpdmpro/button-templates-add-on-free/
An example of how another site differentiates files can be seen here: https://www.template.net. They have “FREE” or “PRO” text displayed on thumbnails.
Any other ideas on how to differentiate things for different member levels with your plugin would be helpful.
Thanks
Download button is showing on every template link after upgrade to version 5.0
how can I disable it? because all my downloads are links.. there’s no direct files..

https://alameensoft.com/en/download-center/Hi,
we are using the following short-code:
[wpdm_category id="erp-scale-pse" tags="web,dropbox" cols="1" order_by="create_date" toolbar=1 desc=1 item_per_page=10 template="link-template-calltoaction3.php" operator="AND"]
How do we get only downloads listed which have both of the tags web AND dropbox assigned?
Note: We are using this with custom code to include child categories. See Show all sub categories of a parent category
