WPDM – BuddyPress Integration
WPDM – BuddyPress Integration Add-on will enable site users to share a package with BuddyPress friends. Using this add-on users can share a package through private message to all of their friends or post on all friend’s profile walls just in a click. Using WPDM – BuddyPress Integration add-on, you also can add a custom menu with one or more menu items in the users BuddyPress profile. And in each menu item, you can show different WordPress Download Manager shortcodes or any content you like.

Can the site admin share a package with any specific users or do they have to be friends? ( I think there is a plug in for make admin friends with every one, that would might be a work around)

No, site admin can’t do that yet, but we will add the feature to send site-wide notification with the next update of the add-on.

Maybe I was not clear in my description, what I am looking for is for a function allowing admin to share/send a file “private” to a specific user.
