May be this is happening because of your installation problem. Please give us a temporary wp-admin access via a private reply. We have to check whats happening there.

You can use tree view http://demo.wpdownloadmanager.com/wpdmpro/tree-view/
But if you want it as steps, that will require customization in code.

For now it will show 0 but download will work fine, but I’ve adjusting it with the next update of the plugin

please try disabling output buffering and resumable download from settings page, if that doesn’t work, give me temporary wp-admin login info in a private reply here, I’ll check it in details.

data are saved as post meta, so they are in *_postmeta table

#1 yes pro version has the feature.
#2 yes download link will be sent to e-mail address or you also can select the option to enable instant download after they enter their email address.

it is because those user roles still exists there, you can edit/delete user roles using any role manager plugin.

no such best limit number there, you can set anything, but sometimes it may depends on your server. if you increase speed then large file will be downloaded faster.

It is usual to see only the basic option in fresh wpdm v2.7 installation. You need to install add-on like any other regular plugin. Download it from here , then install it in your site.

in that case, you need to copy all caps from editor or upper caps roles to your custom role.
