Actually it is very simple, you just need to select  a dir in attach dir metabox and publish the package.

SMTP error from remote mail server after initial connection, which means, the error is actually coming from remote server, like if user try to use a invalid email address,  wpdm or you have nothing to do with it. However if you want , you may discus it with your hosting/server support, they may check their mailing system.

You are using a very old version of wpdm pro, please update to v4.3, then the add-on will work fine.
