Actually there shouldn’t be any broken image issue in v4.5.5, nothing related with images changes there. Please install and activate v4.5.5 and give me an URL where I can check the issue.

@rcinteractive, your issue is totally different from @Redspire, the text in your site is coming from this add-ons http://www.wpdownloadmanager.com/download/wpdm-extended-short-codes/ , which is just a placeholder text inside popup modal, however you can remove it from add-on file.

Please use featured image with package to show recommended downloads properly.

For 2nd issue, please to do text mode in editor, and removed <pre> or <code> tag from before and after the short-code.

Please use short-code like [wpdm_user_dashboard recommended="category-slug"] to fix the warning.

And issue with 2nd image ( Capture1.jpg ) is just because of your screen size, nothing to fix there.

It looks like css conflict with visual composer or your theme, you can skip using visual composer builder with short-code. Also it need to fixed from their side.

Share buttons are coming from your theme or other plugin, wpdm have nothing to do with that.

Please use this add-on http://www.wpdownloadmanager.com/download/wpdm-image-button/ for button styling.
