@ryanlandsiedel, I see, you are using a very old version ( 4.6.0 ). However, I modified the license server URL in your installation and license key just worked fine. Still, I strongly recommend you to update to latest version.
You can use CSV import.
BTW, we also adding a new tab to list favorited items in user dashboard.
Users can see their favorite items on their profile page:

Please give me your license key in a private reply.
Please give me temporary wp-admin login info in a private reply to check your issue.
I’m seeing a message:
We used the regular query, but not sure about wpml.
Hi,
Please install the latest version of Download Manager to fix the license issue. Download the latest version from your purchase area.
Disable and delete the old version before installing the latest one. You won’t lose any data.
Thanks.
Okay, I have placed the second shortcode there.
As you are have informed me you are creating roles to control access, now things are very simple.
Do not edit any category settings. Do not set any roles there, removed any category access if you have already set up anything there.

Just set the user role in Allow access field,

Now everything should work fine.
Not sure which change you are referring to. Do you want me to insert the new shortcode like this https://demo.wpdownloadmanager.com/wpdmpro/archive-page-compact/
Role-based access works too.
[wpdm-search-page] shortcode doesn’t list all files on page load. It shows only the search form. You used another shortcode there to show all files, which does not have relation to search page shortcode.
Use another Directory add-on shortcode if you want to list files initially. An example here: https://demo.wpdownloadmanager.com/wpdmpro/archive-page-compact/
The download will work if you set the option to Download instantly in email lock settings. The issue is related to sending the email link.
Please send me the php error log so I can check the possible reason behind this error. Or send FTP info.
It may also be coming from another plugin. It is okay if I disable other plugins for testing purpose?
Everything works fine in my test here http://036.b7a.mwp.accessdomain.com/clients/
You can check yourself by following steps below,
Primary access status:
Toxicology Report – wpdm has access
05-02-2017 Report – wpdm doesn’t have access
1. Login as wpdm, search Report keyword. The result will show only Toxicology Report package. User wpdm does not have access to the other package which contains Report keyword in the title.
2. Allow wpdm access to the other package ( 05-02-2017 Report ). Now, search again with Report keyword. Both packages will be visible in the result.
Please send wp-admin login info in private reply. This might be related to category access settings, I have to check to be sure.
Hi,
In my test, Pop-up is working fine on mobile and desktop. Please check following screenshots.

But, looks like there is an issue in email settings. Download works for me when I set download instantly from settings. You have to ask your server support to check if all email settings are okay on your server.

Thanks.
Yes, please increase it to 3600 or bigger number.
@yannicpieters, if you kept the file in an unprotected public folder, then it will be accessible through HTTP, to put the file protected from direct access, you need to upload the file using wpdm.

The icon is showing fine from my side:

It is not about license key, first of all, please contact your server support and ask why files like this http://teachinghub.bath.ac.uk/wp-content/plugins/download-manager/assets/css/chosen.css are not accessible even though they are exist.
I think you are a technical person, so, please try to understand before being angry, the license is valid for lifetime, the license will not expire ever, only support and update access expires after 1 year. But, recently users were seeing invalid license issue, as we moved our license server to HTTPS from HTTP. So, they simply had to update to latest version to fix the issue. The other reason is, they already applied the key in a domain.
But, in your site, the issue is totally different, some style and js file those should be accessible from HTTP to work plugin properly are not actually accessible, and it only happens if the server is blocking access to those files, it needs to adjusted from the server, nothing to do from plugin side.
And, there are 100,000+ active users are using this plugin properly without any trouble. So, trust me, the issue is not with the plugin. And we are not here to blame customers, we are here to help :).
All those strings are in language file at /download-manager/languages/wpdmpro.po
