You can apply separate passwords for each file in the same package.

If the ID is available then package with the same id will be created. After deleting the package if there is any other post ( of any type ) created with the same id your CSV entry for that id will be failed.

If your files are in download-manager-files dir then use the only filename to attach them to the package. I guess you already know that ( you stated this here https://www.wpdownloadmanager.com/support/topic/bulk-update/ )

Sorry for the delay. Actually, MailChimp does not allow easy resubscribe to a list due to anti-spam policy. You have to add the email manually to the list in this case.

You can attach directory to a package. So, that’s the simplest way to add 1000+ files to a package. Put all your files/folders under the same dir and then attach the main folder to the package.

Use Single Column, Image Top, Extended page template to show file list with add to file cart button. Or you can use any template that has [file_list] template tag.

You will see a UI like the following screenshot. + button adds the files to the file cart.

You are using an older version of Download Manager. Please install the latest version of Download Manager to fix this license issue. We moved license server to https that’s why old WPDM can’t connect to license server.

Hi,

It is not required to use the key in dev server if you are moving to production within 2 weeks. Also if you want you can use the license key in dev server and later move it to the production. We just have to unlock the key from the dev.

The sidebar is controlled by your theme. You can use Page Templates add-on to use theme’s page templates as download page template. Use a page template that doesn’t have a sidebar.

Maybe your theme or another plugin is using its own Bootstrap which is conflicting with WPDM Bootstrap. Try disabling WPDM Bootstrap from Downloads Settings Basic Misc Panel. Clear the cache after that.

Please send me the URL of a package which is related to this issue ( doesn’t show up in the front ). And send the URL of the page where you placed the shortcode to show the packages.

Do you mean you allowed the subscriber to access the download from package settings? In that case, any user with subscriber role should get access to the download.

Did you use the shortcode to show the download or trying to download from package details page?

MailChimp is working fine. I tried with our API key.

I think you are trying with same email address multiple times. Try with another email address.

Mailchimp won’t send a double opt-in email twice. The email you are trying with already got an email to confirm subscription. But you didn’t click the confirmation link.

So when you are putting this same email to download in email locked package you are not getting the confirmation email and your email is not added to the list. The reason is you already got a confirmation email.

If you want users to register before download just set the Package Setting Allow Access field to ‘Subscriber’. Use the following shortcode to create user dashboard which shows the login/registration form if a user is not logged in.

Make a copy of that file and put it in a folder named download-manager under your active theme directory. /active-theme/download-manager/wpdm-all-downloads.php

This is related to Google Chrome and Amazon S3 files. It seems Chrome can’t open s3 pdf files using its pdf viewer.

Solution: Disable Chrome’s built-in PDF Viewer ( Settings Advanced Settings   Privacy Content Settings PDF Documents )

As I see, wpdm has nothing to do there, you need to contact with AWS support, why Chrome failed to open the PDF delivered by AWS, I checked in FF, it is working fine there.
