On my website, I use Download Manager to provide videos. The download statistics/information are removed from the video player page template, and right click downloads are blocked according to this code: https://www.wpdownloadmanager.com/support/topic/block-video-downloads/. The page for the download just shows the Video Player.
On Chrome and Edge, when people go to the download page for the video (which just shows a video player), when they play the video, they cannot change their place in the video. They can only press play or pause. When I try to move the dot that shows video time progress to another spot, it jumps back to its current location. There is no way to skip ahead or go back in the video.
I am not sure how to show this in a screenshot, as the video just looks like a video player. It is only when the video is playing that this issue occurs. In Firefox, this issue does not occur.
