Ok, great. Then we should be good to go, correct? We can close this one up?
Hello,
Oh yes, we had created that custom plugin/add-on. Thank you for discovering that was causing the error.
Are you referring to the “Create Date” and “Last Update” info on an individual package page? i.e. https://www.langerconstruction.com/download/stodilia/ (see attached screenshot). If so, the client wants to display that info.
You have the custom add-on deactivated, but I see that the “create” and “update” template variables are listed as options. (see attached screenshot). And that’s what we’re using in the custom page template “Langer Custom Template”, like this:
<tr><td>Create Date</td><td>[create_date]</td></tr>
<tr><td>Last Updated</td><td>[update_date]</td></tr>
If we’re good to use your template variables, I assume we no longer need our custom add-on. Is that correct?
Hello, yes we have other add-ons and I had updated those as well. Yes, you can go ahead and try and update all WPDM plugins. We’ve taken a backup of the site.
An update: Our client needed the functionality restored ASAP because of a project they had due tomorrow. I had to restore the site back to a point where I hadn’t updated WPDM to the newest version. It is now back to v4.6.8. I’ve also attached a screenshot of what a single package page should look like. We’ve created a custom template for that layout.
Hello, I am also getting the error that my license key is invalid after updating the pro version of the plugin. I followed the proper steps to update from v4.6.8 to v4.7.4. I will provide my license key in a private message. Thank you for your help here.
Ok, thank you! I need to talk to the client about a few things. Stay tuned…
Ok, I tried what you said and edited a template file using the shortcode you provided. Do you know why a preview wouldn’t be generated on this package?
http://langer.flywheelsites.com/download/test-project-02/
Same login info as before.
That package has only one file in it and it’s a PDF.
Ok, but how would I do that if I want that feature on package page, where I’m not using a shortcode? I’ll send an example in a private response.
Perfect! Thank you. This can be marked resolved.
Ok, that makes sense. Thanks for pointing that out. So, how do I edit the look/color of the green buttons on the individual files? And, are we able to change the label on those buttons?
Ok, I see the button image on the main “Plan Room” page where we have the archive/directory view. But they are still not displaying on the package pages. For example: http://langer.flywheelsites.com/download/test-project-01/
Hey Shaon! Thank you for your reply.
I’m not sure I understand.
Do you mean in the WPDM settings?
Or something I change in the “edit package” page?
I am using the Directory add-on as well.
Please see attached screenshots.
Thank you!
Hello Shaon, thank you for the reply. The site is hosted at 1&1. I would be surprised if it’s blocking it. I’ve updated the plugins manually. Thank you!
