For description text, you may put text manually from packages classic editor, for making easy of tasks, you may also see this add-on too, For the basic WordPress TinyMCE editor use https://www.wpdownloadmanager.com/download/advanced-tinymce-button/ and for Gutenberg https://www.wpdownloadmanager.com/download/gutenberg-blocks/

Guest Role download limit is working fine, please check, limit reset timer will initiate after 1st download for the same IP, and also need to be excluded that page from the cache

Please simply click the Save Settings again for license key option from Downloads > Settings > License, that will regenerate the access token. Finally, go to plugins page and update will work fine this time

and for add-on for now,

1 ) Download the latest version from here https://www.wpdownloadmanager.com/user-dashboard/?udb_page=purchases
2 ) Install the latest version

If you are using download limit add-on, you may keep value 1 for limiting download once and give a certain period of time. or if you want to let never download any package you may remove the download link for a specific package. without the download link or limiting never to download, I think same. i hope it can help you.
