Thank you. Is soon typically days, weeks or months? I will need to find a different plugin if it’s going to take some time to fix the bug.

Thank you, do you have a estimated time on how long this will take to fix? This is an important plugin for us that is time sensitive and I need to understand if we need to look for a different plugin or method of getting the information out.

Thank you so much

Oh I see now. When it said you could do it automatically, that was a bit misleading. You have to fill out the form and put your information in it and then send it so its not really an automated process. I misunderstood that.

I tried this but never received an email. We use WPForms SMTP plugin. Would that cause the emails to not go out from post subscription?

Hello, The documentation does not mention anything about automatic notifications. Can you please direct me to the location where it talks about that?

Hello, following back up with the issues we are having here.

I don’t believe the campaign is what we are looking for. I am looking to page users who subscribe to posts and receive automatic updates when we add a new file for download or update the post.

I followed instructions here: https://www.wpdownloadmanager.com/doc/post-subscription/

I can see it tells me on the post how many people have subscribed. The plugin description here: https://www.wpdownloadmanager.com/download/wordpress-newsletters-autoresponder-plugin/ says that we can
Send your latest posts and download them automatically
Send post and download update notifications to subscribers easily

But no where in the documentation does it explain how to do this.

We are currently using formlock to capture the persons contact details (Separate ticket for that not saving wpforms entries). What we need to be able to do here is notify the people who have downloaded our document from the post if there are changes such as a new document being available for download or changes to the expiration date…etc. Is that what this plugin is supposed to allow us to do automatically?

Additionally, if a new post has been published, I want to be able to notify subscribers of a particular category that there is a new post available. We have 6 main categories. How would we set this up so if a new post is published that matches the category someone has subscribed to, they would be notified automatically?

Thank you,

Hello, this is what I was explaining. The widget doesn’t appear to be saving the emails on the backend. When I put my email address in the widget, and check it in subscribers under campaign, it doesn’t show any but when I go to my download, it shows 4 subscribers. How would I see who has subscribed?

Hi, I just wanted to make sure I understand correctly, I am trying to add the expiration date to the related page template. I am not seeing what the [code] would be to add that field to the template? Where would I be able to find that? Or is this something that I would need to use ACF for?

Hello, I have checked your sample and see that you are using the description field and not the excerpt field on the post. Does excerpt only work from the description field? It seems counterintuitive to have a description field and excerpt field that both pull from the description.

I understand. We are required to show it when we post our documents on how long they will be available until. Is there any way to show that expiration the entire time instead of only after it is too late for people to download something? Thank you,
