I have installed each and every downloadable file into its separate website, but it does seem from that url that they have all been installed into the same database! I don’t know how that happened, I had assumed that they were in separate database tables. So yes, please I would like some way of getting them to be output into a separate download page for each site.

Has this been the case for other people? Maybe its a long-standing problem?

Thanks
Sharon.

Yes, but what I want is downloads for my site “A taste of linux” to only show on that site, and downloads for my site “Tgmeds” to only show on that site, and neither site knows what the other downloads page is showing! Two separate sites requires two separate downloads pages, and a strict policy of *only* showing downloads from that site.

Does that make it clearer?

Following up on my previous post, if each download had an additional field of “site_id” then that could just be an additional option for showing all the packages from site a, as separate from site b. Just a thought.

No, sorry, but they are mixed up. items 1-4 are from my “A taste of linux” whereas item 5 is from my “TGmeds” site, That’s just an example, there are others.

Shaon.
I can set you up almost immediately, to resolve this long-running saga, when I receive an email address for it to send you the password. I can set it all up with you as administrator, is that OK?

There is one table of *all* the entries in this multi-site setup but the command does not give differentiation of the entries, which is what I’m looking for.

I’ll have to speak to my technical admin re granting temporary access to the site, so I shall get back to you on that.

It is on a test page which is never published, just used for trial purposes. Its url is sharons test page, but this is what I’ve tried [wpdm_package_all] which doesn’t work. I just want to be able to autolist all available downloads for a particular site. I have two sites both running this plugin, and all the data goes into one databank/data-table, but I just want some of them to show, not to show the downloads of the other site.

Have your downloadable files *actually* disappeared? Can they be seen with some kind of file explorer, nautilus on linux? Have you tried recreating a new link to them with the new upgraded wpdownloadmanager plugin? Have you tried converting the links to them with the new plugin upgradeable system?

Are you falling foul of the WordPress upload limit? Check out what it is for your site, and then see what the size is of your requested mp3 upload. If your file is bigger than the upload limit, then you either increase the upload limit, or upload the file to the relevant place using an ftp file management programme, and then browse to it from within the wpdownload manager. This has worked for me to get a 34mb file served when the WordPress upload limit is just 5mbs!

Hi Shaon.

Just adding my voice to the list. I have converted *all* my downloads and then tried to set up with the new ids of the posts, but its just not working. THe throbber is just churning away and nothing is happening. The site is A taste of linux.

Is there a solution please? Or should we downgrade the plugin until you’ve got it sorted out and running properly again?

Sharon.
