yes, after wpdm moves to custom post type we dropped that option temporarily. Now re-adding now.

FYI: if you are selling digital items, it is better to use http://www.wpdownloadmanager.com/download/premium-package/ , so that you don’t have to manage woo commerce separately. Also “premium- package” is specially designed for digital products with wp download manager.

ok now, but it is something with your server, failing to create thumbnail from jpg file, anyhow you may ask your server support to ass that option.
I just tested in my installation, any size of file is working fine, however it coujld be something related with your server, however, you can upload all those files in uploads/download-manager-files dir using ftp, then attach with package using server file browser .
it is because, you didn’t move options table, as custom templates are stored in options table.
You can use accordion add-on to show specific categories, in that case you need to use short-code like [wpdm-accordion cats="catid1,id2,id3]

create a new page template with [doc_preview] template tag, use the template tag for all of your packages, now when someone click on a package in wpdm tree view, reaching in details page, visitor will see the document preview.
