We are planning to use your download manager plugin in conjunction with a 3rd party membership program that we have been using for a number of years. We would want to show one page template on the front end of our site (to help get people to become a member), which would be more promotional in nature. Then we would show a more simplified version of the product page in the back-end for people that are already members (in their membership resources area).

I know that we could always create separate blog posts to promote the products on the front-end but that would be double the work and we have hundreds of products.

I completely agree with the need for this. There really needs to be an option to do bulk edits from the All Packages page much like how you are able to do bulk edits to specific posts from the All Posts page in WordPress (i.e., you can bulk assign categories, tags, etc.). Having the ability to bulk edit Link Template, Page Template, categories, and tags from selected packages on the All Packages page is highly needed.

The Default Values plugin has its uses, but it is an “all or nothing” option. Not everyone wants to assign the same exact Page template or settings to every single product.

Thanks. Would it be possible for this to be a feature that is added in a future update? I imagine many of the users of your plugin have different categories with different settings for different products and would not always want to do a bulk update that impacts ALL of their downloads. Please consider this as a future feature. Thanks

As a follow-up to this, does the Default Values plugin let you do bulk updates of the download label of packages based on specific criteria (i.e., configure it to only apply the changes to packages that are listed under a particular category)? Or is the bulk update an all or nothing update?

For example, we would want to change the download button on our products that are classified under Category A, but not to products that are classified under Category B. Please advise if there is any flexibility in what the bulk updates are applied to.

I would also love to see this as a feature.

Just an update. The thumbnails finally showed up on my site, but it was probably 1-2 hours after I had posted this problem. Are the thumbnails generated by WordPress cron or something, which could cause delays in the thumbnails being generated? Please advise.
