Hello. I did some further investigating and it appears that downloads are only being tracked when an item is purchased in the shopping cart. For example, we offer two ways to purchase our downloads.
1) Purchase a specific package with the shopping cart (these downloads ARE being tracked) or
2) Become a member to download multiple packages on a monthly or annual basis (these downloads ARE NOT being tracked).
In your test it appears that you purchased a package and then downloaded it (and the system tracked that test purchase in the stats). However, can you please also try to download something as a member to see why member downloads are not being tracked in the stats? If needed, I can create a member account for you to use for testing. Please let me know.
Thanks
Nevermind. I was able to resolve this issue.
Thanks for figuring out the issue. Just to clarify, was WPDM Pro updated to fix the issue or was the PDF stamper add-on updated to fix the issue?
Can you please advise on the steps that I need to follow to locate the PHP log error?
Thanks
Hello. Can you please address this support ticket? You have told me several times that you would look into this, but have not done so.
Bumping this up for a response. Please advise.
Hi. Can someone please provide an update on this?
Hi Nayeem. I’ve tried to be patient, but the support on here has really been going downhill. It’s incredible that I have had to send so many follow-ups over the last several months to get a simple answer to a support question. It’s really disappointing and frustrating.
Can you please just have Shahjada provide a response here?
Thank you.
Hello. Any updates on this?
I look forward to receiving the update.
Thank you.
Hello. It’s been almost 7 months since I originally posted this and I still have not received a reply. I would really appreciate it if someone from the support team could please provide a reply. Thanks!
Hello. I am following up on this support ticket. Please advise how I can show everything in the archive except for those packages that are tagged with a particular tag. In my case, I want all of my packages displayed except for packages that are tagged with “basic-only”.
Here is an example of the code that I am using:
[wpdm-archive cols=”4″ cat_view=”compact” button_style=”default” link_template=”card_featured_image_thumbnail_add_to_cart” order_by=”post_title” order=”asc” items_per_page=”20″]
Please let me know what needs to be altered in that code in order to exclude by the tag “basic-only”.
Thanks
Hi Nayeem,
I went ahead and manually updated hundreds of our posts because I could not afford to wait for support to reply.
However, I have some more changes that I need to do to our template names, so I need to get this issue fixed, so that it doesn’t happen when I rename a template.
For logging into our site, please try using a different browser or clear your cookies and cache (or open a private browser tab). You have experienced this same issue with logging into our site previously and you have been able to log in fine when logging in from a different browser.
Once you have logged in, please do the following:
1) Go to edit the private package called “Test Package for Checking Template Issue”.
2) Assign “Test 1 Template” as the page template for that package.
3) Go to the page templates editor and rename that page template to something else (i.e., Test 2 Template).
4) Go back to edit the same package from Step 1. You will see that the renamed template is no longer assigned to this package.
This appears to be a bug that needs to be fixed, since it happens every time a template name has been edited.
Thank you.
Yes, but the font is super tiny now and if you go to pages 4 or 5 the next button still gets cut off on the right side and is even worse on larger archive directories. In addition, these css settings that we have applied make our main blog’s pagination look very bad.
The issue seems to be with how WPDM does the pagination. Here is a screenshot of your WPDM demo site, which shows the pagination going well beyond the layout of your mobile site: https://pasteboard.co/JgyOd5m.jpg
Can you guys change the way the pagination is displayed, so it all fits on a mobile site’s layout without requiring us to use super tiny fonts?
Perhaps you guys could can at a minimum replace “previous” and “next” with arrows instead, which could help some (<– and –>) which is how you have things set up on this support forum’s pagination. I also noticed that the pagination on this support forum wraps around to two lines when it gets too long, which can also help to address the issue.
Please advise.
Thanks
Changing the font helped some for getting things to fit onto page 2, but the font is now super small (hard to see) and it is still a problem on pages 4 and 5. This is what is shown in pagination as I progress through the pages:
Page 1: 1 2 … 7 8 Next
Page 2: Previous 1 2 3 … 7 8 Next
Page 3: Previous 1 2 3 4 … 7 8 Next
Page 4: Previous 1 2 3 4 5 … 7 8 Next
Page 5: Previous 1 2 … 4 5 6 7 8 Next
Page 6: Previous 1 2 … 5 6 7 8 Next
Page 7: Previous 1 2 … 6 7 8 Next
Page 8: Previous 1 2 … 7 8
As you can see above, it progressively gets wider and wider as I move through pages 3, 4 and 5 (more page numbers are displayed in the pagination), so changing the font size is not going to be enough to fully resolve the issue.
Please note that I also tried looking at a different page that shows “all packages” and it gets even worse, since it shows “…” twice in the pagination. This is how page 5 of a 17 page archive directory looks:
Page 5: Previous 1 2 … 4 5 6 … 16 17 Next
Please advise if there is a way to shorten the length of how many page numbers are displayed in the pagination or if you have any other ideas on how to resolve this (without needing to reduce font size).
Thanks
Thanks. I just made those changes. Everything fits when looking at page 1 of the pagination, but when you go to page 2, the “Next” button is still getting cut off in mobile view. Please advise.
For item #1, is there somewhere that I can update the settings so that it only sends me one email message instead of two? Also, is it possible to change the email address that the notices are being sent to?
For item #2, were you able to look into changing the paypal integration, such that there is no shipping address on the PayPal side?
Thanks
Hello. I have a follow up question relating to this.
It seems that the inclusion/exclusion of tags in the category shortcode only works when using this shortcode:
[wpdm_category id=”category name”…
However, I would like to be able to include/exclude by tag when using this shortcode:
[wpdm-archive category=”category name”…
Please advise on how I can include or exclude by tags when using “wpdm-archive category” (instead of “wpdm_category id”)
Thanks.
