Hide Stats page from users

Hi
Currently, when someone clicks a download link, it takes them to a page with Download and shows them details about the download, eg, how many times it has been downloaded, when it was created, etc. We don’t want this visible to end users. Is it possible to hide these details and just show them the ‘Download’ button?

Hi,

You can create your own template and hide them in your own way in the PRO version easily. But, if you are using the free version, you can follow this doc, https://www.wpdownloadmanager.com/doc/template-files/, you can edit page templates and save as in your own theme folder like {active-theme}/download-manager/tpls.

When you say “easily”, do you mean one or two clicks? Do you need to upload templates, etc, or is it all done via Graphical User Interface?

Yes, you will able to clone and edit templates from the Downloads > Templates panel

So, we’ll Clone the Template and Edit it? And how do we set it as the Default Template, so that users see our Template instead of the built-in Template?

Hi,

You can set the template from package settings. and if you have many files you can set it with default value add on, https://www.wpdownloadmanager.com/download/wpdm-default-values/.

Hello,

We recently updated our version and NOW get the “Details Page” when a download link is clicked. Any way we can make a simple change and have it like before where when the button is clicked the download occurs. We really don’t need or want the Details page to show, or for that matter any Details of the download.

We have loved Download Manager for its simplicity. We are not programmers so hopefully this fix is simple.
