Files Won't Update

When attempting to replace a download with a new file, it defaults back to the previous stored file. When creating a new download and uploading a new file, it doesn’t save the new file and shows no file is associated. Any support would be greatly appreciated on this matter.

I have the same problem.
The file is being uploaded, but the meta information and package information isn’t updating at all.

Hi Shaon,

Is there a resolution for this? I get the same in that, I add a new file to be uploaded, but I publish the link to the pdf fails.
When I select the pdf for upload, I’ve noticed that it adds a number of numbers and characters in front of the filename I was expecting.

Hello Shaon,

I’d posted a description of the possible failure (have the same problem and can’t update (or upload) files) before I read this thread (I found the mistake while loading up files, so I’d opened an own thread before reading this) :

Upload disabled (security restriction in last update?)

@willthing, the issue with with the event calendar plugin, the event calendar dev contacted with us about the, I told them about this, probably they are working on it.

Hello Shaon,

I have a similar problem as the others. I cant uploade any new documents anymore. If I click the button “datein auswählen” (german for select data) under Upload file(s) from PC noting happens. No mather if i try to change something in an old package or try to add new one. Did you already find a solution?

Btw I realy love the plug in. Great work!

@Chrisking, if you are using “The Event Calendar” plugin, you need to disable it, the plugin has an issue, which is causing problem, however “The Event Calendar” plugin devs are adjust it and hopefully will fix it with their next update

Hi Shaon,

The developers of The Events Calendar are attempting to contact you to work through a fix. I hope you all can figure it out soon, we’re going to have to abandon your plugin if it can’t be fixed and we’ve got a lot of downloads in there, and it’s a great plugin!

@willthing, we have nothing to fix there, it is something with “The Event Calendar”, you may need to disable it until they fix the issue or try other download manager plugin.
