since a view days I can’t upload new files to the download manager. The file browser is shown and I can select files on my harddisk and also on the server and it’s shown above the browser. When I’m clicking “publish” the file is transfered to the server (checked it via the file browser and via FTP-Client). But above the file browser there’s again the message “No file uploaded yet”.
When I’m opening an old filepage (edit file) I see the attached file and if I save, the file keeps alive.
I logged in database and see, that you put __wpdm_files-Entrys in the wp_postmeta-table. But from newer upload-trys this entrys are missing.
So I looked in the change-log: On january 12th you’d made an update “upload restrictions” for more safety. Can it be that there has to be an option to say which file-attachments are allowed? In free version (Settings:Basic) this dialog is missing and I hadn’t found a suitable field in database.
What I’ve to do to upload new files to download manager in free version? It hurts a little it because I’ve done a page for complimentary project which has to start tomorrow until 12:00 MET. So it would be super super great if you can give me a hint.
I use WP 4.1 with the customizr-theme. In the project there are only 3 Plugins (a contact form, the download manager and a event calendar. Upload works well until last week. And I hadn’t changed any plugin since then. So I think, that the last update of the DownloadManager has a little failure in.
Your plugin I found your plugin in decembre and I’m think it’s great. So I’ld like to use it later also in commercial projects in pro version. But therefor it has to work ๐ Thinking, that a bad review and cursing is the wrong way in this case. So I tested the failure out and hope that my description enables you (or an other reader) to give a usefull feedback?
