In WordPress Download Manager, when adding a new package and then “Attach Dir” from the backend,
for a single directory structure, visitors can see all the files within that directory.
However, for complex directory structures containing multiple subdirectories, visitors can only see the individual files, not the complete directory structure.
How can this be resolved, and what paid software package would be necessary
Hello,
Thanks for reaching out.
By default, visitors can view all files and sub-directories within a directory. Are you trying to hide the sub-directories and show only the files inside that directory?
Please check and let me know.
Regards
For complex directory structures containing multiple subdirectories, how can I view the complete directory structure and download subdirectory files, such as the Windows Explorer subdirectory structure.
This is how the directory view appear, when you upload a directory from your server.

You can use this template tags [file_list] for flat file list, [file_list_extended] for grid view with directory explorer
How can I resolve the issue of selecting “Browse Directory” on the left and then “Download File” on the right, similar to Windows File Explorer
You can check our Archive page add-on , but it will display only the categories and subcategories not the directory.

Attach dir
How can a user click on directory/subdirectory/download file in sequence
From the backend, click “Add new Package” and then “Attach Dir”. For complex directory structures containing multiple subdirectories, visitors can only see the flat file distribution and not the directory structure.

Can something like this be done
It will also require customization and the left sidebar in directory add-on is showing all the categories not the directories.
The File Manager add-on allows for management of physical directories in the back end. Can the front end also do this
This add-on is added as a core feature with WordPress Download Manager Pro.
If the File Manager add-on in the front-end allows for the management of physical directories, is download-only and restricted to members only, I would like to subscribe to Download Manager Pro.
It will not allow the directory management from front-end.
