Hello Bart van den Dool,

I have successfully logged in and checked that you are using this shortcode with the elementor add-on,

[wpdm_packages] – WP_Query in a shortcode for download manager packages

For changing the placeholder texts for the shortcode, please explore this directory file download-manager\src\Package\views\packages-shortcode-toolbar.php and you will be able to change the text Search Keyword... from the line in number 40. please check and let me know.

And for keeping a backup of the file, please follow this doc,

I’m not using the shortcode but a widget, I had changed the text in the file and added the shortcode, but to no avail
